Great bushcraft knife for the money
First impressions of this knife just blew me away. Cnc machined knife and handles. Better symmetry than most china budget knives out there. I paid like 21 dollars off a discount. Most fixed knives in this price range have serious symmetry issues. But this knife despite its issues which are...( unsanded cnc marks, screw not flush with handle, some ding on edge which came out after 10 minutes with diamond stone), is like a 90 percent knife which can be finished easily into something worth much more. I reground the knife a bit thinner with diamond stone and turned the edge jnto a convex edge. I lightly ground the mtech marks as it was a bit rough from the laser engraving..has drag. I can probably hand sand the handle a but more to be smooth...but completely unnecessary if you don't want to. So out of the box, only real issue was that small ding..other than that, most are just finishing issues. So most knives in this price range are either crappies hand made with very lopsided grinds. I have some buck knives where the edge grinds angles are not the same. Most knives I buy, even Fallkniven super expensive knives need hand tuning on my diamond stone are most handmade machine belt sanders are not completely flat. This knife was 99.9 percent flat on one side and the other side more like 98 percent flat. But by eye, you can't tell until you start grinding it with diamond stone.
