Magpul MOE Fixed Stock, Black

I have one lower and two uppers and i’m tall and have long arms so a standard M4 stock is like a little kids toy even fully extended for me.I love the storage in the buttstock, it’s equal to or greater than the storage compartments in the old M16A1/2’s. So you can fit a cleaning kit in there, backup batteries and Oiler. Be sure to put it all in separate plastic bags to keep it from making all kinds of noise or leaking oil everywhere.I keep a RATs TK ranger banded to the butt of all my long guns and recommend you do to. It rides perfectly stored under where the buffer tube is and with two thicker bands it keeps it from snagging on bryers or sticks when walking/slung. 95% of the time this gun stays propped against the night stand as my go to bump in the night gun.When you install yours check the fit if it’s tight install at your discretion, but if it seems loose then take small strips of duct tape and apply them along the length until it eats up that tolerance/wiggle room. Tolerance stacking is a thing, but nothing to loose sleep over. Space it and forget it & don’t forget to use threat locker on ALL your hardware and don’t forget to paint your blaster too!I paint mine About every other year. I use 3 colors of spraypaint lightest to darkest. That first coat completely coats your blaster solid, the next two are spotty and to tast.

Fantastic replacement rifle stock for the A2 buttstock.If you are going to be wearing body armor, the A2 buttstock length is fine - but for civilian AR use, the A2 buttstock is just way too short to be comfortable (at least for me, 6'3").In comes this great Magpul replacement. With the add-on extended buttpad, this stock increases overall length of pull by something like 1.5". It is a noticeable difference, and now the gun shoulders exactly like i would expect. In my opinion, the cheek weld is excellent and the extra stock length allows me to get perfect eye relief without having to move my head backward or forward.I do wish that Magpul had omitted the shooting-weight trapdoor at the back of the gun, and instead included built-in swivels (you have to buy the inserts at a soul crushing $15 a pop) and reduced the price by $10. But i'm not them, and they are crushing it without my help, so there ya go.I personally put mine on a DPMS LR-308 lite hunter edition, and it fit perfectly. This stock will fit on any AR15/AR10 platform which can be fitted with a rifle-length buffer tube.In closing, the fit and finish of the item is typical Magpul - exceptional. The price does seem slightly too high for what it is, but i would still buy it again.

I prefer fixed stocks and highly recommend the MOE Rifle stock. It’s sturdy, comfortable, the trap door is easy to open and it was extremely easy to install. It installs with a single screw which comes with threadlock already on it.The listing isn’t clear on this, but if you intend to install the MOE Rifle stock, your AR requires a rifle length receiver extension (aka buffer tube), rifle spring and rifle buffer. If your AR has carbine-length components, then you need to replace them with rifle-length ones or you cannot install this stock. Also, unlike carbines which have both commercial and Mil-spec receiver extension variations, rifle-length receiver extensions are all the same size.Because it has an approximately 0.2” shorter length of pull vs. an A2 stock – and I have 36” arms - I also purchased the Magpul PRS Extended Butt Pad (MAG350BLK.) Replacing the original 0.3” butt pad with the 0.8” extension increased the LOP by approximately 0.5” (or 0.3” longer than an A2 stock.) It was also easy to install by removing a couple of Allen screws.

Great product!Installation was a breeze and the stock feels solid and very nice when shouldered.I have always been happy with product from Magpul, and this product is no different.I also rather like the look of this stock.Fits nice and snug on a rifle length buffer tube. Did not need the extention buffer.The space in the rear is a lot larger than expected. Seems like a good spot to store hunting licenses and paperwork or other useful things.

Like the look, and works perfect for any standard receiver. The usual Magpul quality polymer.

I was nervous when I got my buffer kit for this build. I had never dealt with the rifle buffer tube, only the carbine buffer tube that takes adjustable stocks. My worry was unfounded. It was easy to install, it's light, and it has a surprisingly large storage area. It's an excellent stock for the price. Plus, one screw and you're good to go! I would definitely consider buying one again.

It worked perfectly with my rifle length buffer tube. Even came with the appropriate bolt to secure it to it, even had threadlocker pre-applied.

Rock solid and has ample storage volume, be aware this only fits RIFLE BUFFER TUBES.
