Padarsey PCIe 5.1 Internal Sound Card for PC, Windows 7, 3D Stereo Audio Card, CMI8738 Chip, PCI Express Adapter

I bought the Pardarsey PCIe sound card 5.1 because the onboard soundchip of the motherbord does not work with windows 11. The card is easy to pin on the motherboard (PCIe). At this moment the cd-player was not connected. Windows 11 does not find the drivers. "If you want to download online drive cause don't have a CD driver. Please click this this link:", but there is no link... After a half hour I have found a driver. After little weeks I have connected the cd-player. You see immediately the ranking win 7, win 8, win 10... The installation of the software is easy. These drivers are better. Windows 11 gives the version 6.12.8.1737 (year 2009). The function "search automatically for drivers" has updated the drivers to 8.08.1743 (sept 2012). The card works very well with 2 speaker. The price is very well.

A genuine turd. Cheap Chinesium clone of Taiwanese company C-Media product. The drivers do not implement a number of properties that should be present, such as AudioEndpointVolume which will break any applications expecting those. It works with iTunes and as a sound device for Windows sounds, but it is junk.

Super easy to install and the computer picked right up on it and installed drivers. The sound quality is what you expect for the price point, but I'm plugging in tabletop PC speakers. Volume is easily controlled via software. Compatible with my Linux and Windows computers.

Works fine for me. I only use stereo output. The default setup doesn't work on Win11 but if you dig into the folders on the CD, you'll find a Vista setup that works. Of course you need a CD drive as well.

The card works as advertised, good price and is exactly what you see, good small card. my only complaint is the software is awkward and took a few mins to set up properly (hardly any explanations of what things are or how to set it up properly & you if you dont have a disk drive you gotta go to some weird website in amazons descriptions to download the drivers and its a .rar file so have winrar ready!), for some reason the speakers are backwards, software shows where left and right speakers are suppose to be but when playing sound its reversed, i just swapped the cables on the back of my amp and its fine but weird. still recommend for anyone that doesnt want to spend $40-60 on one just know you might need to tinker with it a bit. overall works and plays 5.1! found out chrome and firefox doesnt support 5.1or 4k videos tho as a FYI so if you test it use microsoft edge....sigh.... or download thx videos and sounds to test it out. really hate us edge....:'( just a friendly tech giving advise to anyone that might not know some of these things when looking for this. Installed without problem but my Windows 10 computer did not find the sound card initially. Inserted the CD that came with the sound card and found folder on CD for Windows 10. Used the setup file in that folder, restarted computer and everything works fine.

Sent my new PC build into a boot loop, will not boot now. Also no drivers... DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP.

Article non conforme aux attentes. La description (et la photo!) indique que la carte son est livrée avec une attache low profile (LP). Ce n'est pas le cas. Article retourné.
