Excellent controller. 13 year old gamer approved!
I purchased this controller for my 13 year old son to use with Fortnite on his Nintendo Switch. Once we got the controller paired, which only took a few minutes thanks to tips mentioned in other reviews, my son fired up Fortnite and started playing. He was VERY impressed! Ergonomics and ease of use was WAY better than the stock paddle controllers that clip together that came with his Switch. He really liked the clicky feel of the controls because it gave him useful feedback while gaming. The force feedback in this controller is quite strong and noticeable. Range was excellent. He found no noticeable lag when using this controller. Battery life was outstanding! He played all weekend with the controller, and the built-in LION battery only lost 50% of its charge. Recharging was very fast as well. I just wish his XBOX One controllers had built-in rechargeable batteries like this. It would save us a lot of money...Speaking of the XBOX One...If you also own an XBOX One, you should remap the controller buttons so they duplicate your XBOX controller. You will have zero learning curve playing with this controller if you do this!Pairing tip:When you first turn on the controller you will believe that the blue LED’s are blinking fast for pairing. They are not. Hold the HOME button until the blue LED’s blink even faster. NOW the controller is ready for pairing! This is a great Switch controller. Highly recommended. Avid kid gamer approved!

Solid controller with counter intuitive pairing features.
This is a solid third party controller. Ergonomics are great. The buttons and joy sticks feel responsive. No issues so far with dropped connections or major latency. For the money, it's a solid buy.Now here's the bad:It was frustrating to pair with the Nintendo switch, and the documentation wasn't great. You cannot pair this controller with a physical usb cable. You have to pair the controller through wireless detection. This wouldn't be so bad if the instructions to do so were better written.IF YOU ARE BUYING THIS CONTROLLER YOU NEED TO HOLD DOWN THE HOME BUTTON FOR SEVERAL SECONDS UNTIL THE LED LIGHTS GO FROM BLINKING NORMALLY TO BLINKING RAPIDLY.Most of the confusion is in the pairing feature. When you hold down the home button the led lights start to blink, just like any other Bluetooth device does when pairing. On this controller, that is not in new device detection mode. There is a second stage you have to wait for. Once paired, you will have no further issues.::December 2020 Update::Still works great outside of the pairing issue. Highly recommend. I might just buy 3 more.

Completely dead after 7 months BUT new one was sent to me
It was a great controller while it lasted. I’ve had it for about 7 months. One day it said low battery so I charged it using the USB cable as usual. Next day, I tried turning it on and it wouldn’t light up at all. Tried plugging the Switch AC adapter cable directly into the controller. Kept it plugged in for at least 3 hrs. Held the home button down on the controller; still wouldn’t turn on. Even pressed the reset button in the back of the controller but still nothing. My switch works with the tv, and the joycons were charged by the dock so I knew it wasn’t the AC adapter or any other wire issue. I’ve already posted my issue in the questions section of the product page so if we can troubleshoot this issue then I’ll bring my review up to a 5.UPDATE****I notified the seller and he/she offered a new unit or a refund. I went with a new unit because I actually like this controller. I should be getting a new one by next week.

Really solid third party controller!
Connected easily to my system on the first round and battery lasts a surprisingly long amount of time! I find myself having to charge my switch first rather than the controller. Fits in my hands well, is pretty light, and the buttons have a great sturdy feel to them! The one complaint I do have is the d-pad sometimes presses when it's not supposed to which isn't a deal breaker on any other games besides rhythm games. When you're going in for big combos and pressing buttons fast quickly it struggles a little bit to keep up. Another thing to note is when your battery is running low the rumble feature really takes a hit but it's not super powerful to begin with. Overall, for playing RPGs or any other kind of game it works really well especially if you just want to have a backup controller for a child or friends or just another spare!

You're next favorite go-to pro controller for the Nintendo Switch!
I like this controller very much! It's comfortable, stylish, no discernable delay in casual gameplay or joystick drift. Turbo buttons on a pro controller were a must have, and was willing to compromise on other features...but why compromise when you can buy this controller?! The only two differences (besides aesthetics) is this controller will not wake up your switch from sleep mode and there is no NFC/Amiibo compatibility. You'll need to wake your switch up manually and then wake up your controller. First Time Use tip: to connect most successfully go to change grip order in your controllers menu and instead of L/R like most controllers - hold the home button for 5 seconds and it'll auto detect and connect. Still, great pro-level controller with a steal of a price.

Okay Controller...LEDs must be blinking rapidly for it to pair with Switch
Overall it's a comfortable controller and works well with the Switch. I give it four stars only because connecting with the Switch was a bit challenging.-The instructions to pair the controller were a bit difficult to understand. If the controller doesn't connect to the Switch, you need to power off/on the switch manually, then go back into the controller options on the Switch and select "Change Grip/Order" then press the "home" (H) button on the controller until all four LED's are flashing rapidly and the controller vibrates. If the LEDs blink slowly, you're not able to pair the controller with your Switch. The LEDs must be blinking rapidly to pair correctly.
