Fun and wavy
Wow,I got this as a gift and it was great! I tried it for the first time and thought it was great! The foam on the handles are really thick, so it wont rip easily. The grip is great and wont be slippery when it is wet. It weighs about seven pounds which is good for a caster scooter. It rides really smoothly because of the thick wheels. My only concern is that it has no break. Overall this would be a great gift for all ages!

Great product, but not for a beginner.
Great product, but not for a beginner. Does not have as much control as reg scooters, but it was designed that way—keep that in mind. Let’s you do cool tricks that aren’t possible on reg scooters. Does not have breaks, and is a bit tricky to keep it going straight if you’re a beginner. Folds easily for storage or travel. Great quality, and cool sleek look.My daughters 8 & 10 love these but they are pro’s on wheels of all sorts.

A cherished mode of transportation for my son.
We have a full garage of bikes, skateboards, Pogo sticks, and pretty much every Razor product known to man. The Razor Siege is my son's absolute favorite. This is the second one we purchased as he literally wore out the first one. That's not to say that it was not built to last either. It took a heck of a beating and many rides through out the neighborhood.Basically what makes this scooter different is that the back wheel swivels and the board pivots. This makes it so you can drift around corners and make some really slick looking turns. It does require a bit of a learning curve.

Fun scooter for the kids.
Back wheel locks up sometimes. Other then that kids love it. Rides pretty smooth. Takes some time to get use to back wheel turning

Fun Razor Scooter
I got this scooter for my 11-year-old son. As other reviews have stated, it was so quick to put together. It was a simple as 1) open the box, 2) remove the scooter, and 3) snap into place. I never had to pick up a single tool. You have to admit that is pretty awesome all by itself. Here is what I love about it.- That caster wheel takes some getting used to but once you get the hang of this can be a fun little ride.- The handle bars are nice and soft. They provide a nice grip.- It can clearly take some abuse. Well, you know it can handle what boys do to toys!- The prices is very nice. I considered other options but wanted something a bit different compared to the typical scooter.- It can be folded up and put away quickly! Also, convenient if you plan to take this on a trip. Here are a few thinks that I hate.- The grip tape was great at first but after a few weeks of use, it could use some replacing. Or perhaps non-muddy boy shoes on it? I am not sure.- It is meant for appropriate ages. I mean if your child is wicked awesome at these products proceed with caution.- It can be a bit scary at times. It does lack a break and we have had many wipe outs. But nothing serious!I am very pleased with my purchase. My son loves my purchase and everyone is happy!

Razor Siege Caster Scooter a Hit with 11 year old Son!
My Son has had a "normal" razor scooter for 2 years, which he rides ALL THE TIME! It is amazing that it is still in one piece. He really wanted this one, so I purchased it for his birthday on June 10th. He LOVES all the things it does that the other one doesn't. It is very durable (so far) and he beats it up pretty good. He likes scooters because of the stability of the handles. He doesn't ride skateboards that much, due to confidence. I would highly recommend this scooter to any kid who is ready to move up from a normal scooter. It took him only a little bit to get used to the feel of it and he LOVES it!!!

Fun and safer than I had thought.
My son is a rough-and-tumble 7 year old kid. He's taken his share of spills, so I wasn't overly concerned with this purchase. Nonetheless, I was "a little" worried about the stability of this riding platform.Turns out that my fears were not warranted. The rear caster wheel is not mounted directly to the Razor. Instead, the designers ingeniously offset the the wheel mounting so that it is stable going in the forward direction. It takes a fair amount of effort, while simultaneously shifting one's weight on the platform, to get the "fishtailing" effect. His Razor Siege is so much fun that he'd rather scoot around the immediate neighborhood than use his bike.So far, the only negative thing that I have to report is the lack of a brake. Admittedly, the brake on his old Razor was of marginal value in an emergency. Nevertheless, my son used it as a convenient way of coming to a halt at low speeds. With the Siege, he now has to stop the old-fashioned way - gravity and footdragging. Not a dealbuster and it certainly doesn't diminish my son's enthusiasm, but thought I'd mention it.EDIT: 3-1/2 years later and my son is still playing with it. Not as much, but it is still in fair shape (less dings and scratches). It's no longer in pristine condition, but it is still working just as well as it did on day one!

Won't stay properly adjusted
My 6yr old saved up his own money by picking up dog poop to earn this scooter. He really enjoyed it, however, after riding it twice the front wheel twisted in comparison to the handle bars. I looked in the owners manual and found out how to adjust. Did that, it looked fine, but 1 ride later and it went back again. The handle bars will also not stay "up" they keep going back down to the lowest setting. Its as if the 2 screws where the handles adjust (either to twist, or to go up and down) are useless. He can't ride it because half way around the block it needs more adjustments.Of course, because the adjustments lasted a bit, and because my son loved it so much that he didn't want to tell me it was messed up, I didn't realize how bad it was until after Amazon's return period was up. So I emailed Razor to see what they can do.In the mean time, my son's hard work poop scooping was for nothing.
