Inside Out Talking Plush, Disgust

My daughter is absolutely OBSESSED with disgust, so we purchased this for her for Easter. Now she takes it with her everywhere. She wants to take it to school, but she cannot have it there, so she likes to leave it on her chair and swoops it back up when she comes home. One thing she does not realize is there is a whole second set of sound effects that she makes. One mode has Disgust saying phrases (that is what we left it on) and the other she makes sounds. There is also an off switch. The battery is replaceable; there is a Velcro strip under the bottom of her hair, and the whole device pulls out.The only reason why I have not given this 5 stars is because of the design of the body. There is nothing in the neck to support the weight of the head. The head weighs at least 5 times more than the rest of the body, so now that she has used it for awhile it flops all over the place. I am waiting for the head to rip off.. it is only a matter of time. You think that when they designed it that they would have put plastic or something to secure it into place.

This whole set of talking plushes from Inside Out is well made. They are all excellent quality materials, and a superb job with stitching and seams. Colors all pop, and the characters do look exactly like their movie characters.The downside is the switches they used. For some reason they went with something very different than most plushes use for something like this, and they're like tiny little plungers. It's a bit of a pain sometimes getting it to work since you can't just "feel" where it is, since it's just one small piece of something hard among several other bits of something hard inside around the switches.This one has the additional problem of a "Heavy head" due to the location of the electronics. But still a great representation of the character

This item was a gift to a niece for Christmas. While the face doesn't actually look disgusted she is still cute. They feel like high quality dolls and were great for the price.However, there is a flaw in the design of this doll. The rod that runs up her back that keeps her head upright keeps sliding down and making her head flop all around. My sister in-law ended up doing surgery on this doll to fix her head. She opened her head where the voice box is and moved it aside and hot glued the rod into place so it would stop sliding down.As much as a hassle as that was my niece does like the doll and it is cute. The pictures included show how bad the head flop is. the picture of her looking normal is after fixing her.

Okay, I know I shouldn't play favorites, but when I experienced Disgust for the first time, I knew one just wouldn't do! "I'm telling you, it smells like something died in here." "Ah, she did NOT just say that!" "Ah, that makes me feel so much better!" said rather sarcastically. "Fine! Whatever!" "That is the most disgusting thing that I have ever seen!" "What is that?" And one, I'm not certain what she's saying exactly but it's about a group of cool girls at two o'clock. What's not to love? I turned around and immediately ordered another just like her! I might give my granddaughter one of them for Christmas. 👹🤔😉

My five-year-old daughter got all 5 charactertoys for Christmas in 2015. They were amazing when she got them. All the toys said cute phrases and Seemed to be made of good quality material. Fast forward a month to today and only one toy of the five is in working condition. We have tried to replace batteries, we thought that may be the wiring came apart with all the playing that she does with them. But nothing seemed to make them work again. This devastated her! If I buy these toys over again I wouldn't buy the talking toys i would go with the plush toys that you not have the option of talking. Paid wayyyy to much for them not to work!!

Colors and stitching is good quality from what I can tell however I was hoping to get a softer doll for my step daughter. My only complaint.

"Disgust" completed my collection of Inside Out Characters with sound. This one is great as well. Though we tease my daughter as some of the comments sounded familiar lol! I would highly recommend. She says "Fine-whatever!" "That is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen." "What is that?" "I'm telling you it smells like something died in here" and more. Super-cute.

Granddaughter who is 3 loved it. Great bargain for a talking inside out doll.
