Fixes common fault
The engine warning light came on in my Mk2.5 Focus. Code reader came back as P2008 which is the inlet manifold solenoid. Common fault. This part costs a few pounds, is a 5 minute job to fit and, after driving around for a day or so, the EML goes out. Job done!

Perfect. This fitted our 2004 Ford focus cmax 1.8 Arrived next day with Prime. Really easy to fit and problem solved for £13. Engine management light off, error code gone and car drives fab again. Highly recommended.

Good replacement Part
My 2009 Volvo C30 1.8 had started generating a P2008 error (Intake Manifold Runner Control Circuit/Open Bank 1) . Checked the impedance of the solenoids and one was OK at 30.4 Ohms, but the other was 51.6 Ohms. Ordered this one which arrived quickly and it didn't take long to remove the faulty one and fit the new one. Error code has not returned.

Excellent replacement for Mk4 Mondeo solenoid induction runners
after getting a P2008 DTC fault code (open circuit bank 1a Induction air intake) - I measured my solenoids at 75 OHM (same as open circuit - assessed by PCM) and 45 OHM (near to failing). New is around 32 Ohm and solenoids do fail in this way as they age and pass current. For the price these were the perfect fix and a good price. No code now and throttle response now perfect (2008 Mk4 Mondeo 2.0L petrol). Recomended Buy and good supplier. You will need a torque star bit set to undo the four bolts but apart from that easy change over. 5 stars

Saved me £££, took me about 10 mins to swap over and my MK2 focus now longer has an "intake manifold" whatsamucallit error code.
