Bought these over the other items for sale because of the 'sealed' tip on one end AND the elastic strap on the other end....Only got one of the two things. There is NO elastic strap on the open end (to hook onto reel to keep sleeve from sliding up and off). Not a total deal killer, but I wouldn't recommend this seller to anyone because of this/

Particularly when transporting in the car.Also you can cut these to length for shorter rods. Just cut with scissors, go around the rim you cut with a lighter. If it catches a flame just blow it out real quick, but try to hold the flame just a slight distance away and work your way around until the strands of the mesh are all kinda melted to each other. Last part requires an iron. Fold the material back into itself about an inch or two, put a towel over top so the plastic doesn’t melt onto your iron, steam helps, and iron a new crease into it. Voila! It’s like you have rod socks custom for everything from your 7’ers to your ultralight setups.

My rods are not expensive but everytime I went fishing they would get so tangled up, the hooks would get loose and get caught on the car carpet or seat. These work great! No more tangled up rod and reels. The only thing I wish these could do would be to be able to shorten them. Other than that, great product.

These are solid rod sleeves. They aren’t too thick so they fit into my mounted wall rod holder. My only complaint would be that they don’t always extend down far enough to cover the hook on my 7’ poles when I leave a hook attached to the hook keeper.But overall, for the money, these are great.

I wish I had known about rod covers years ago. This slides easily on and off my Abu Garcia 7 foot rod, eliminating those annoying tangles with other rods. It seems durable enough to last for years.

These equal the quality of the ones sold at Academy and a 6-pack costs as much a two sold at the same store. The Amazon item also comes with velcro/neoprene straps which were useful for me one i strapped multiple rods together. You cannot go wrong with this product.

Works as described. Helps protect you rods from each other and they do it well. One would be worth the price paid, but here you get six of them. Its a bonus that they look good while do the job.

The only reason this didn’t get all 5 stars is because it only fit on some of the poles. I ordered this for my boyfriend and unfortunately some poles it just didn’t work on. The durability, price, shipping, etc was all great

The ad said 6pcs but only 1 showed up. Very unhappy. Product is great but the seller ad is a liar
