I purchased this as a prototype for a particular project I've been working on. I just wanted a low cost home safe. I found it to be capable of doing what I bought it for.It worked for my purposes, but I found it pretty thin in the area of real security. It's a common-key lock, easily picked. Additionally, it's not fireproof.The box would be fine to store items that can easily be replaced, or maybe a place to store a limited amount of cash (mad money). If you want a home security box that is higher on the safety side, with fingerprint recognition, credit/debit card reader and a fireproof shell, you'll have to open up your wallet a little more.

glad it came with keys cause keypad did not work

This is terribly designed so that when the battery dies there is no way to access the battery compartment, which is inside the safe! I will have to hire a locksmith for $250 to have it opened unless manufacturer will help me. Will update if that happens.

I was needing something to lock up medication. Wasn't sure if it would work but it is great. Easy to set up.

Love this safe! Very easy to setup initially and the key code entry makes this product exceptional! If I ordered again, I would probably Order the bigger size to fit more stuff. Overall, I love it!!!

This safe really does the job. It is very lightweight, but the safe comes with something to tie the safe to another object so someone else can't steal it. Overall, worth it for holding extra cash

I should have listened to the reviews and not even bothered. The touch pad worked exactly once and then never again. We set it and tested it and it worked great. As soon as my daughter tried using it, nothing. Resetting it didn’t even work. I am returning this immediately.

It's very useful and easy to use. I very much enjoy it.
