Hi there, that depends on the ohm's of the speakers your connecting, I use 14ga as my speakers can be set up as 4ohms or 6ohms, 16ga is good for 8ohm speakers which should be labeled on the back of the speaker.

As this will be used for an outdoor installation, time will tell how well this cable will perform in the long run, but perfectly happy at the moment. Seems well made and the outer coating looks decent. Nice and flexible which made the install nice and simple.

Happy with this speaker wire

Not an expert or an audiophile, just a hobbyist here. Bought this wire to connect Kanto Yu 5.25” passive speakers to my mid 1980s Yamaha A-420 amplifier. All seem to be working nicely together, nothing overheats and the sound is subjectively excellent. This is like my first ever speaker wire purchase, but seems like a good deal especially given the price cannot complain 🙂
