Wonderful nostalgic blast from the past .very very nice detailed model you can't go wrong with this T2

If you are a real follower of the Andersons you will like this model. It is a little smaller than expected, (I know, I know...the dimensions are always shown but in the flesh very often it looks different), however, having said that, it is one of the best if not the best copy of the actual T2 (I really don't get all these other differing versions and why). There is only one T2! Its light yes, its plastic, its a little smaller than perhaps you might like but it is one of the most perfectly formed models of T2. The detail is all you could hope for on a model of this size (i.e. it has real windows, not painted, the intake vents are as they should be, the curve over the body is correct (the body is part of the lift system, as it would be on a craft of this size). The thrusters are as they should be. Check these out on other models if you want a T2. I grew up when Thunderbirds was the nearest sci-fi we could get to StarTrek.There are larger models of T2 out there but none that match this for detail and correctness that I have yet seen.Good luck!

If you remember old British sci-fi tv programs like The Thunderbirds show you will love this model, it's a great collectible and worth having.

My only complaint is that it feels VERY fragile. It's a fine display model and pleasantly a bit bigger than I actually expected. The only one I ever had was a Dinky my dad bought me when I was a kid. In moving the pod in out I am afraid it will break something. I would be VERY careful and DON'T drop it. It has the feel and weight of a fragile plastic model - I had the impression having researched it, obviously wrongfully so, that it was going to be diecast metal, so this came as a BIG surprise. Other than that, the detailing and finish are outstanding. I have heard of some issues with the stand - I haven't tried it yet, but it seems to me that most any clear fixative should resolve that matter. I go back to the first years of syndication, so if they had not got it right - I would be letting you know!.BE CAREFUL when opening. I turned it over to help get the plastic cover off without tearing or doing damage and almost lost some of the tiny leg parts - they are loose packaged.Only other thing, is that it NOT being metal - It REALLY should retail for a bit less.This same company, Kaiyodo, has just released a soft vinyl version which appears to be a good foot and a half long or more for around a hundred - I can't wait.

Outstanding, In 2000, I was in a club in Manchester, and the owner had his Gerry Anderson collection on show in a display cabinet. Although it was in a very used condition, the 1960s die cast metal Thunderbird 2 was undoubtedly the centre piece of this collection. I was mesmerised and there and then I was determined to have my own collection and I wanted a Thunderbird 2 in it. Fast forwarding to 2015,I have a good collection of vintage Gerry Anderson collectables, but alas no Thunderbird 2. Until now, after 15 years of waiting I finally have my Thunderbird 2. Was it worth the wait ? Oh yes. The 1960's model is a classic and would grace any collection. However, this version is better, this is the Thunderbird 2 as seen in the tv show. Sci-Fi Revoltech have recreated this majestic aircraft in all it's glory down to the last detail . Thunderbirds are most definitely Go!!!
