card too big to fit
the card was too long to fit in an xt case. that was the reason i bought it, i really only needed the zif connection , the ide connection made it too long. do not buy this card for a dell xt laptop, it will not fit.

Alright product.
This thing works, but if you are getting this to replace a 1.8" hdd; don't bother. This adapter says Toshiba 1.8 Adapter, so I automatically thought it would fit in places that a 1.8" Toshiba HDD would, but it doesn't. This adapter is actually as long as a regular 2.5" HDD, but just narrower. Don't get me wrong, this is a good product for what it is (which is why I gave it a 4 star), but I just think it could have been designed better to actually fit into spots where a 1.8" HDD would. For example it will not fit an iPod, nor will it fit a ASUS EEEPC in the spot designated for the ZIF drive. I just wished they have told me this before I purchased this.
