This one is great! I could only see my face in my older smaller one, so I only used it to do my makeup and had to go to the wall mirror in the bathroom to do my hair. Now I can do both makeup & hair at my vanity table. Also, I've never used the magnifying side of any mirrors because they were too strong, but this one at 3x is perfect and now I use it to do my eye makeup. I'm happy with this purchase. I bought it to be able to see the gas permeable contact lens while in my eyes so I could place the removal applicator on the lens itself and not on the eyeball. I figured out quickly, it’s not necessarily the ultra bright light around the face as one ages, it’s the capacity to see well. I replaced bulbs to obtain the brightness I need to see well in the mirror. The height of this mirror allows me to sit up straight and the large round mirror(s) allow me to see a clear undistorted picture of myself.
