This series is awesome. First off I love that they are hardcover book with duck covers. This series is wild with over the top action and a truly oblivious over powered main character. There is plenty of dark humor and some really cringe worthy inner monologue and I love it. This is a really well written page turner. Definitely read this series.

A fun and well written story.
The second volume in this serie, brings back our overpowered protagonist, Cid, and his Shadow Garden. Characters grow in this volume, and the author does a great job expanding and introducing new ones. The banter in the dialogues are fun and well written. A fun book to read.

This series is amazing and you will love it if you understand all the Isekai/anime/manga troupes in it. I seriously hope this is picked up as an anime.

just as good as the first
if you enjoyed the first book then this book is just as good or better the story continues in its own way that's not predictable. there's time for development for all the characters in the book that have a large part in the which is nice the story draws in the reader with the mystery of the world the main character finds himself in and still very glad the book is coming out in hardback

Amazing is the only word!
I live this continuation of the original novel! The lore behind the world is finally deepened but without being too dense and exposition-y and Shadow’s exploits continue to be badass and hilarious in equal measure! But there’s heart to this story too - the characters around Shadow go through real trials! The climax is brilliant and I can’t wait to see where this story goes!

Ja, typische Isekai Elemente: -OP-Protagonist, - Alle Frauen die vorkommen haben eine Beziehung mit Ihm (Liebe/Abneigung/Vergötterung) -usw. Aber der Author hat Sinn für Humor, Shadows Auftritte sind nicht 100% sie sind 150%. -Eine vom Mondlicht durchflutete Kathedrale und Shadow spielt eine düsteres Arregemant der Mondscheinsonate als die "gefallene Prinzessin" aufgegeben hat - Plötzliches Gewitter und Regen der die Szene "verdunkelt" und für einen Schwerkampf im Stil von "Matrix" die Stimmung einleitet. -Shadow der Apocalypse Now frei zitiert, alle die wegrennen sind Banditen, alle die stehenbleiben sind disziplinierte Banditen und oh Harem count 675 (7+666, +Alexis,+Sherry) -und der epische Name des Badguy "Perv Asshat" Also wer eine akurat logische Geschichte sucht, ist vielleicht fehl am Platze aber wer gutes "Popcorn Kino" mag und hier und da lachen kann, liegt nicht falsch hier.
