CAT 6 cable by code is copper wire only. I did not notice until this product got delivered that is was Aluminum wire with copper overlay i.e. (Copper Clad Aluminum, CCA). The specification when reviewing after receipt does state the product type, but the listing of cable as CAT 6 is misleading. It is not CAT 6. It does not meet code standard of bare copper wire. Amazon should not permit companies to advertise products not adhering to standards as an item defined by a standard.

This is an excellent product with a great price. Shipping is free if you order 2 or more boxes. I will use Skylite Communications for all my cable needs.

Beaware this is copper covered aluminum. I was not and will never purchase it again. If you are looking for reliability, this is not the way to go.

Copper-Clad Aluminum! Don't automatically go with the cheapest box of CAT6 you can find!
