This golf brush literally saved my life.There I was, minding my own business when out of the blue 3 huge dudes come out of the bushes and challenge me to a golf game. I'm not that great of a golfer so I deny their challenge. One of the guys snaps at me and says, "You will golf with us and if you lose...you'll be sleeping with the fishes!" I don't know if I was more concerned that I was just threatened or that he used a quote from a cheesy 20's gangster movie. I ended up accepting the challenge and to my surprise I was shooting the best game of my life. I ended up getting to know these guys and despite threatening me, I grew quite fond of them...until hole 17. I hit a phenomenal drive on the glorious Par 5, right in the middle of the fairway. The 3 huge dudes were getting worried because it looked like I was going to beat them...and then it happened. My second shot landed me right in a bunker. My heart sank, sweat starting pouring from my brow, but I wasn't going to give up. I get out my sandwedge and scoop the ball out of the sand in one shot. I felt like I had just won the lottery until the ball landed in another bunker. I slowly walk over to the bunker thinking about my family and my finances and if I had all my affairs in order. Before I stepped in the second bunker, I look at the head of my club and it's filthy! The sweat from my brow in the first bunker combined with the imported sand from some island paradise had caused a mountain of dirt on my poor little sandwedge. Just before giving up all hope I remembered that I bought the Golf Brush and Club Groove Cleaner By Ace Golf. I turned to the 3 giant dudes and I smiled. I carefully cleaned out the grooves of my sandwedge and knocked the mud back down to the ground. I take a few practice swings, take a few long deep breaths and then punched it out of the second bunker 3 feet from the hole. All four of us were so excited that they told me I wouldn't be sleeping with the fishes that day. I ended up paring 17 and with my birdie on 18 I beat these 3 monsters with pride. As I pulled into my driveway and entered my house I kissed my wife, hugged my two kids and even hugged the dog thankful to be alive. As I lay down to sleep that night, I thank my lucky stars I ordered this powerful tool, knowing that it saved my life. Thank you Ace Golf...Thank you.

The product came in the mail on time and in perfect shape.Pros:Tons of functionality - especially the groove cleaner - and it looks great on the bag. I've used the grove cleaner around 5 times now (complete cleanings, 4-LW) and it's still nice and sharp. The groove cleaner is easily my favorite feature. The nylon brush head is great for cleaning dry dirt from my clubs and works well on my shoe spikes too. The metal brushes work well on my drivers and woods and even helped me restore an old lob wedge, by allowing me to get old dirt/grime out of the grooves. I also like the extendability of the tool as it rests on the clip which is attached to my bag. It lets me clean my clubs during a round, without having to dig for it in my bag or brush them at an awkward angle as I'm a tall guy.Cons:The metal brush head gets frayed after a couple of uses, but you can clip the frayed bristles off pretty easily - not a big deal. The biggest negative of this product is the location of the groove cleaner in relation to the nylon brush. When using the nylon brush side, you have to orient the tool so that the spike doesn't scrape whatever you're cleaning. Thankfully, they include a rubber cover for the groove cleaner, so to me it's not that big of a deal at all - just something to be aware of.Final thought: For under $15, this is a steal honestly. It would be a challenge to walk in to your pro shop and find a multi-use tool of this quality for this price. An excellent edition to anyone's bag.

The groove cleaner functions as you would expect for a groove cleaner. the included cover is a nice addition because in my experience, as the wire bristles wear down, they start to cling to towels and other fabric. The cover can be a little cumbersome to take off and put on while on the course since it only fits one way, but it is an excellent idea to keep the brush from "grabbing things" when you clubs are in the trunk or otherwise stored away. It is a good gift idea for the golfers in your family.

I stumbled on this product while cruising the pages of Amazon. Until I saw it I had no idea that I had a need. One convenient tool that keeps my golf club heads in shape to hit that perfect shot. I would love nothing more to tell you this product has gotten me to a sub par player, in all honesty, my game is no better than before. What is better is the cleanliness of my club heads.The retractor allow the brush to hang on your bag and instantly available as you prepare to return the club to the bag. The combination of brushes matches the brush to the need. The groove cleaner is for those stubborn times the brushes do not do the job. I have not had that problem.One caution, the groove cleaner will poke you if you do not pay attention. I have held on to the cap that comes with it.

I went golfing with some friends of mine and duffed a few shots and when I asked anyone if they had a brush to clean the grass from my grooves the response was nobody had one. So then I looked online and came across this brush and really liked the fact that it had a retractable clip on it so I gave it a shot. Ive been on 2 rounds so far with it and I can say I love it. I especially like the spike groove cleaner that allows me to just get the grooves instead of brushing real hard to get the bristles in there. The only problem I have like some others that reviewed this product is the Spike placement. It really makes it hard to use the soft side of the brush without the spike getting in the way scratching here and there. but other than that it caused the rest of my friends to go buy their own as well.

Great brush to clean clubs and retractable which is perfect for on the go.

Did exactly as advertised and was far more effective than the brush I previously used. Very satisfied!
