KamikWomen's Heidi Boot

I waited awhile to write a review. I originally purchased these boots to muck my horse stalls, which they are perfect for that task. However, they are also my favorite go to rain boot during the horrible Florida rain storms. I get so many compliments about the color, which I purchased the red. They are a nice deep burgundy red, not fire engine red. I love these boots and they are 100% water proof. They go high enough to keep all water out ,but not too high. They fit mid calf. They are good for all seasons just wear a heavier sock in the winter. Definitely try these boots. Excellent purchase, great price, very comfortable, very good product. Pretty fashionable too.

UPDATE!: I've had these boots for 3 years now, my original review is below. These boots are fantastic. I've worn them many many many times. In the yard, working in the garden, out and about when the weather is bad, walking the dogs, and to an outdoor music fest where the mud was (I kid you not) nearly knee deep. No matter how dirty they get I just rinse/hose them off and they look like new again! They haven't leaked or torn. Maybe they aren't as shiny - but they've been through a lot! If someone wants a pair just for commuting or for running errands, these boots if worn just for sidewalk adventures would probably retain their gloss and nice look for years. The inner foot liner came out of the R side, I just tuck it back in and if I get around to adding some strong glue it'll stay, I'm sure. Overall after 3 years of wearing these boots all over and many, many, many times I absolutely highly recommend these boots!!!Original Review: I highly recommend these Kamik waterproof rain boots. I purchased these boots to use when walking the dogs, walking out in the yard when there's rain/heavy dew/mud, and running errands/going out in sloppy weather. These are perfect for all those uses. They are equally as good in country fields and grass as they are on a city sidewalk.SIZE: I wear a 9.5 Women's shoe, I ordered these in a size 10 and they fit great. Very comfortable with a regular sock and enough wiggle room to allow for a thicker boot sock if desired. I have average width feet and the width of this boot was just fine. My calves are average sized and the boots aren't tight around my calves.CONSTRUCTION: Kamik makes quality boots. This is my second pair of Kamik boots (the other pair are winter boots). The material is waterproof and flexible while still holding the shape of boot very well (no "falling down" around the calf). The soles are sturdy and the treads provide traction in sloppy weather. I've worn these boots in heavy rain and they are definitely waterproof.STYLE: These boots look good. Jeans with a boot cut will fit over the top and the bottom of the boot looks nice. Jeans/pants can also be tucked into the boots without them feeling tight and that's a good look as well. The boots look good enough to wear with a casual skirt/dress. I ordered the boots in red, they are shiny, a true red color, and I've received many compliments on them. These are very good looking rain boots.WARMTH: A surprising bonus is how warm these boots are. I wore them for several hours straight during a heavy rain in temperatures just above freezing and even with a regular sock my feet stayed warm and dry. I haven't worn these in the snow yet - however based on how warm they are in near freezing weather, I'm expecting that with a thicker sock they will be able to keep my feet warm in snow even though these are a rain boot and not a "winter" boot.COMFORT: I've worn these boots for several hours at a time and they have been absolutely comfortable.

I wear a size 10. It’s always roomy for me as I size up a 1/2 size so I can wear thickish socks. These boots fit great length wise, but are certainly narrower compared to all my other boots. I have to wear a thin sock regardless of sizing up. Also if u have think calves these won’t work for you. Got ‘em on sale (I think they were a return) so I’m keeping them. It’s been raining cats n dogs here in CA. So far they’ve been great in the mud and rain! Well made just narrow.

Average rain boots for a higher price. I like that they are dressier looking if you wear them with nice clothes. They are very narrow, so if you have wide feet you may want to reconsider. I’m sure they will last longer than others because they are a good brand, but we will see.

I LOVE Kamik stuff and have had several throughout the years, and was excited for these glossy red pretty rain boots. They have a little extra thin lining that helped them feel warmer than the plain cheap type of rain boots, and look really nicely made.However, the height of the boot over the arch of my foot was FAR too small, making them difficult to get on and off. I do have a high arch and sometimes struggle with that area of my foot, but even these were beyond tight in that spot.I ordered my usual size, then exchanged for one size larger to see if those would work. The rest of my foot was fine in both sizes, but even the size up didn't help the fit.If you have notoriously "flat" / low arches and slim feet, they might work and be really cute!But average to wide/high feet may have trouble - but they are worth a try overall.

Nicely made and I can get my hefty calves and levis in without cutting the top of the boot.

For starters I love that they’re Canadian made! Also the brand kamiks comes from First Nation and Inuit traditional wear and I just happen to live in an Inuit community so the irony was pretty cool since I hadn’t heard of kamiks until I got here. Besides the point, I’m impressed with the boot. They are a bit lower on my calf than I expected but it’s also possible I never looked at the measurements. They still keep out the water and you could walk in about a foot of water and still be good. I did order a size up based on other reviews and the size is perfect, so I wear a 7 always and I got the 8.

Kept the boots because they are really comfortable. However, would like them better if they were a bit narrower and higher.

Please listen to reviews and order a size up. (I wear size 7 and ordered an 8) If I had ordered a 7 I wouldn’t be able to fit my foot in without some force.I am genuinely surprised how well and comfortably these fit. Currently wearing with thicker winter socks and they are a tiny bit tight (still comfortable) but I also have higher arches.Lightweight and very comfortable in the foot bed.I have not been through substantial rain so I can not comment on water resistance yet.I do feel like I have smaller calves and they feel a bit snug while walking so they may be tighter on larger calves.I normally don’t spend this much on rain boots so I am hoping these last a few years and don’t crack.

I am in love with these! The black is so glossy and even without being broke in, these boots are quite comfortable. I usually wear between a size 8-8.5. I ordered a 9 based off other reviews and I'm happy I did bc these do fit right in the ankles. I can't wear my big fuzzy socks to make these more winter friendly bc of the ankle fit but if I had ordered a 10 they would be too large to wear in spring & summer with regular socks. Defs take your location and the weather in your area account when deciding why you're buying these😉I'm in Canada (Alberta) and it gets wicked cold in winter so I'm not sure I'll be able to wear these in full on winter conditions but they'll be great for Fall,Spring & Winter and that's good enough for me☺️

Had to return my first purchase of these; seem well made but they are very tight on the leg and ankle. I had to go a size up and could have gone up another.
