really happy with this,,,has bounce suspension to minimalise unwanted contact/noise,,well made,,slightly expensive,,but i'm glad i got this over a larger (cheaper) boom holder as most had not great reviews and i wanted something compact and long lasting,,,it's good.

Yes it does pong a bit from the grip but it gives a good grip on the small microphone I have just a bit bouncy and I can't find a way of tightening that up, maybe there isn't. I hardly use my microphone but it was better then the flimsy plastic stand it came with. Not a bad option for smaller mics.

This mic holder made specifically for camera shoe mounting is all metal, and of good quality...it ought to be...it wasn't cheap! I wanted something better than the awful 'lyre' shock mounts (they really are awful) and this is indeed much better, but for the considerable cost, I think that the shock mounting ought to have been adjustable, which it isn't. The clamp for a shotgun type microphone is excellent and allows for a range of diameters. Overall, though, a good buy.

Whilst it appears well-made, it's unfortunately not suitable for the Sennheiser ME66/K6 Shotgun Microphone System, which was my sole reason to purchase it, the problem is the silicone rubber mounts are far too flexible for this Sennheiser ME66/K6 Shotgun Microphone System, it's just too heavy for the rubber mounts and the microphone hangs down too much, from my experience this microphone does not suffer handling noise and in my last Canon video camera it came with an already fitted microphone holder which was rigid and just had rubber mounted on the clamp itself, this proved was very successful filming weddings in the past.Regarding this SmallRig mount it may be possible to remove the silicone rubber mounts, too firm things up and accept this Sennheiser microphone system, by just leaving the clamp rubber in place, the other concern I noticed with this mount with the Sennheiser system fitted along with a Rycote dead cat for wind suppression, with a lens at wide angle the Rycote was visible by a fair bit, so I would have to raise the mount or choose a different location to mount it.With a lot of microphones now made of plastic instead of metal, this mount would probably be alright without resorting to modifications.

Es un buen producto, como es habitual en smallrig. A mí no me sirve porque no tiene rosca en la parte inferior. Sí eso no lo necesitas, entonces está muy bien.

Fatto bene, e molto bello. Ho letto di alcuni utenti che si lamentano del fatto che pur stringendo molto il microfono questo ondeggia ugualmente, ma con un Rode Videomic è una roccia. Fa una figurona rispetto al sostegno originale ma... Pesa un botto per le dimensioni. Se dovessi centellinare il materiale per un trekking, questo lo lascerei a casa. Negli altri casi bene.
