Disney: The Music Behind The Magic

I had searched the many Disney music products available on Amazon.com and elsewhere. All in all a very disappointing hunt. I did receive a three volume CD set with a serious content of Disney music from the beginning classic songs up to today's music. Allow me to be honest, I have no idea what some of these 'new' movies and their music are or where they come from, much less what they're about. To me Walt Disney music contain the classics like Jiminy Cricket's "Wish Upon a Star," and so many others from the original classic illustrated movies. I'm also talking about the music from the streets and attractions of Walt Disney World. Nothing better to bring back wonderful memories. On the other hand, when your grandsons say you won't like certain music because it's for kids only, you should listen to them.This CD 2 disk set has it all.The ordering was very simple and easy. The product arrived much faster at my home than I had anticipated. It was packaged very well and protected. I found it easy to open right on down to the CD itself. I had a concern and the seller's customer service responded to my email almost faster than immediately. You don't find that too often today. Everything they describe the product to be and contain, was there and then some. Even the CD double disk set external packaging in design and presentation evoked wonderful strong memories of, "The Music Behind The Magic" using 50 songs to celebrate their 50th Anniversary. The cursive distinct writing of "Disney" in brilliant gold lettering with a purple fireworks in the background, set the mood precisely. . Bottom line, if you like the original classic Walt Disney music and songs, buy this CD set now, because it is not going to last very long. Your success, happiness and over all satisfaction will be blown away experiencing this particular purchase. I highly recommend this seller and this product. You can't go wrong.

Love trying to figure out the songs. If you love Disney movies, and rides, you'll enjoy this CD.

I heard this cd playing in a children's gift store in Fredricksburg, TX. I enjoyed the music so much I asked them the name of the cd and purchased it so my children and I could hear it in the car. We really enjoy listening to these two cds.

There is nothing better than listening to the most beloved Disney songs ever! This 2-disc cd is a one of a kind with plenty of joyous songs to dance and listen to. It not only has the more updated songs, but it also has the classics we know and love! You get to feel like you're a kid again. It's wonderful. I would reccomend it to all ages.

Music is good. Tracks are labeled incorrectly when playing via a computer -- completely unrelated album titles or song titles etc but the correct music plays as in product listing. Product case arrived with cracks where discs are to be inserted in the case.

I bought it for my grandson to listen to in the car. He loves it and so do I. Lots of great songs

This is a fantastic compilation that takes you chronologically through decades of classic and more recent songs from Walt Disney Records. The first CD features music dating from the 1930's such as the quite amusing "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf", and hits the favorites from many Disney movies from the 40's, 50's and 1960's while adding theme songs used for the classic Disney park rides such as "Its a Small World", "Yo Ho (A Pirates Life for Me)", and "Grim Grinning Ghosts" from the Haunted Mansion.The second CD covers many favorites from 1979 through 2006. The jacket for the CD is very nice and includes an interesting narrative about each song.
