SAFAVIEH Blossom Collection 6' Round Navy / Green BLM422A Handmade Fringe Premium Wool Area Rug

I bought the 6’x9’ for our new camper. Campers are traditionally drab (to me) and I like art and need color around me. Just because you’re in a camper does not mean you have to be surrounded by blandness!I did MANY hours of research for the perfect color, fabric - wool in this case- and REVIEWS of course. After several weeks of owning and use:First, YES it will shed… at first. All rugs, carpets of natural fiber will shed at first. The shedding slows down as it gets settled and lightly vacuumed a few times.The QUALITY is amazing. Multi layered weave/texture so it is not “flat” looking and it is very thick, cushy and feels great under your feet. It is heavy and very durable. Our dog is old and we always want something good for her to lay on, play on and of course fictional to our needs.It does slip around and I had expected it would on the campers synthetic slippery floor. When our friends walk in and see this beautiful piece they are all impressed by how pretty (and envious I think…) and tasteful it is.Purchasing something like this on line can be a challenge and I was crossing my fingers. When it arrived and we laid it out I cannot say how tickled I was at the beauty and quality. It laid flat right away and no smell.The photos online do not do it justice. I made sure my photos captured the color and quality as closely as I could. The color is defiantly as close as it could get.I definitely am a new Safavieh fan.

This is the third Safavieh carpet I have purchased. I bought this one as an 18' runner. It turned a long rather drab hallway, into something very special. Even my husband was impressed! These carpets are VERY well made, beautiful colors, the textures make them unique. They wear well and are easy to vacumm. We have one as an accent carpet in the master bedroom that I've had for a few years and it is as nice as the day I put it down. Price is very reasonable with the outstanding quality.

Beautiful rug, good quality. I had to return it was too thick and I didn't want to trim the door. Highly recommend for the price and quality.

Absolutely love the pattern & color. ONLY 2 dislikes; the amount of shedding & the fringe edges. But the price, color & pattern are so worth it. I was told that the shedding will subside in about a year. It is already reducing dramatically (after 10 mo.), but have to vacuum slow & without the beater bar & empty my vacuum bag several times. The fringe on edges is not done well and pulls out easily. I am ok with that for now and plan to cut it all off when it looks ratty. It has a very high/ low pile. It cleaned easily when a cat puked on it. I hope it last years and years because it is beautiful.

This is a beautiful rug. It is in shades of blue, a light almost mint green, and a muted yellow shade. It is a rougher texture so what I wanted for a basement walkout living room. Very pleased with it. You'll need a decent vacuum though as it gets fluff on it due to the texture.

Beautiful rug & very well made. However, the colors were very muted compared to the pictures. The green appeared to be a rich forest green, but arrived and was more of a sea foam. Regrettably, it did not match and I had to return it.

I love the color of this rug, and it’s thick. However, I already noticed a spot where the fabric is coming apart. I have literally had it out for about 4 hours.

Love this rug. The photos don’t do it justice. It is wool so it will shed for a while, but absolutely love it.
