Kurgo Dog Harness with Quick Release Buckles, Small, Muted Floral

Bought the size small for our little (15 lb) Pom/Jack mix. She's a puller, and she also has stubby legs, so all the front ring harnesses we've tried before, she could just step or pull out of. We've walked her before and found her completely off lead behind us. This harness works great. She has never pulled out of it, it definitely reduces pulling although doesn't eliminate it entirely. I don't understand the the top strap that goes from the back of her neck towards her tail. It is supposed to be adjustable, there are three sectioned off sewn segments of the strap, but this strap is under the top strap, and it doesn't look like there is any way to make any adjustments. Consequently, that back double strap buckles up when walking. Anyone have any answers or suggestions? That's the only reason it doesn't get 5 stars.

my dog can spin and tangle it but the product is good

We used this on a trip from Atlanta, GA to South Bend, IN over the holidays for our Aussie puppy, it worked perfectly. As it is both a harness for the car as well as for walking, we never had to worry about taking the harness off to put on a leash or taking off the leash to put on the harness. It made bathroom stops quick and easy. The quick release buckles are an improvement over our other Kurgo Harnesses for our larger Aussies. None of our dogs have had any issues with these harnesses from day one. They are loose enough to be conformable for the dogs and tight enough to provide security. I would highly recommend these to any dog owner. They are so much easier than having a cage in the car! They are well made and seem nice and strong.

I had the exact same problem as another reviewer. The latch didn't work and I was unable to unlatch the product from around my dog. Luckily I was trying it on for fit and I had it on too loose and could slide his leg under the strap to remove it. Tried it on once and sending it right back. Bummer.

I needed a good travel harness for my Aussie. It is well made, appears to be comfortable. But on top of that she is a bad puller when I walk her. However with this harness she pulls less. I also bought the Kurgo Harness with the metal fasteners in a smaller size and gave to my sister when it didn't fit. Even though the metal seem ultra strong I prefer the Quick Release plastic ones. I've been using this for six months (I drive a lot for my job and she goes with me) the buckles seem really sturdy and are much much easier to use with a tasmanian devil type of dog.

Arrived quickly from the wholesaler. Very cute. Works pretty well to walk my medium sized dog for brief potty walks on trips but not designed with enough support for long walks or hikes. That said, I bought it for the car security of my dog and would only use it for the brief enroute potty breaks. The manufacturer's customer support is wonderful.I bought this brand because I saw plain black ones at my Subaru dealer's parts department. Then several of my clients (I'm a professional dog trainer) mentioned that they liked this brand.

Stitching tore after two weeks. To be fair, my dog does pull a lot but that's why I bought a harness.

Works very well for the car and for walking. I was trying to find one that would fit my chesty 9 month old pit puppy. I tried on a lot at the pet stores and none fit quite right. I already had one of these for my Shih Tzu/Wheaten mix and loved it and he is chesty for a little 18lbs dog. I bought on a whim to see if it would work and definately glad I did!

The harness itself is great. It not only fits somewhat comfortably (I say somewhat since I dont think having a harness on is the most comfortable) compared to a couple of others that I tried but it looks good too. The only thing is the attachment between seatbelt and harness is somewhat baffelling. I am using the attachment that I had received with another harness I purchased but do not use at this time.Overall rating would be about 3 1/2
