Was expecting a pillow that alteast resembled the one in picture. Needed so i could sit up in bed without headrest.... nope.. Handle already ripping on first attempt to pick it up, the pillow will not stand up on its own. Says premium shredded memory foam, but what it actually is is like 5 pieces of random sized scrap foam that u can feel their original applications shape, with a handful of stuff that fell off chucked into a cheap cloth bag and vacuum sealed, I repeat.... the foam i recieved in my pillow is not shredded, is definitely something like a fail office chair cushion or something tore into 5 pieces. Not happy. Will give 48 hours like it says on bag, but this is one sorry looking pillow. Be prepared to add your own foam to this "Bag" if u think ur gonna use to actually prop a person up....

I originally looked extensively on Amazon for a suitable reading pillow like this one. Many of the customer comments from other Amazon vendor's of reading pillows mentioned strong chemical smells coming from the pillows, due to the filling. This pillow also had an extremely toxic type smell to it, that came from the filling. Because this is a new Amazon item, there were not many comments on it and I decided to take a chance with it. Unfortunately, I had to return it, but I bought a pillow and cover from Pottery Barn instead. Their pillow insert is filled with a fluffy down-alternative that’s 100% hypoallergenic that is 65% polyester, 35% cotton and made with recycled materials. This pillow is of very high quality and doesn't have a chemical smell at all. The cover is a nice sherpa material and I am very pleased. A little more expensive but very worth it.

It does support my back better than stacking up flattened pillows. But the foam inside does smell funny. And I am not sure why it has to always be microfiber . Microfiber makes you sweat. I find myself getting overheated with this thing if the temp is too high in the room. But it’s fine. I only bought this to support my back on our couch until our new couch comes inAlready ripping at the seam. Still waiting on my couch. Just hoping it holds out till I get it in

I order 2 of these one from another company, however the one from the other company was much better and met my expectations. However this one just okay and I was disappointed. I wish I had of gotten both of them from the other company.

The arms on this pillow are clearly not sewn very well. My old $15 bed pillow from Wal-Mart lasted me over 7 years! This is a waste of money.

November 23, 2020 UpdateChristmas 2019, I gave these pillows to family members as Christmas gifts. I bought five of these pillows. Out of the five only one has remained in good condition. I gave one of the pillows to a family member who soon after Christmas 2019, was sent on assignment out of the country. Since these pillows are so big and bulky, he chose to leave the pillow behind (box unopened) until his return, which was yesterday (Nov 22, 2020). When he opened the box yesterday, I was shocked to see the condition of the pillow. It had basically disintegrated. See the pictures of the beige pillow. The pillow did not puff up because the materials inside the pillow has disintegrated. If you buy this pillow, open the box right away. Don't let it stay in the box.To be honest, I don't know if this was the condition of the pillow Christmas 2019. It could have been shipped in this condition. I will never know.January 2020 review -Update - This pillow is literally falling apart at the seams. I would not buy this again. At almost 75.00, I expect better. I will see if the seller will replace the cover.December 2019 review -This pillow is huge and heavy. I ordered five large of different colors. The large size is more for a king size bed. I have a queen bed and this pillow takes up a lot of space in the bed. One of the pillows has holes at the seams. Sending this thing back to the seller would be a chore. It comes compressed in a box that you can't use to return it. It will be a task just finding packaging to send it back. I wouldn't recommend buying this unless you need something really big for a large size person and you are able to patch up the holes if they exist.

this is a wellmade beautiful product...exquisite stitching,buttons...but I just cannot get enough support to be upright and comfortable. I do not know if my body size(size 18-20Womens) is the problem. Saw that XL/husband size...was unavailable. I have tried many many study pillows as we used to call them. As I got older...they were less and less comfy. I am trying to avoid buying another recliner...but I may have to....I slouch like a worm and keep sliding until I am supine....HELP!!!!!

I really didn't know what to expect. I shopped and shopped for the best pillow. The reviews seemed all over the place. But I went with this one. And I'm so glad I did. First - I'll address everyone complaining about the smell. It does not smell all that bad. Yeah it smells "new". But if you do exactly as they say, leave it out to plump up and air out, the smell is gone in less than a day. Second - yes it comes completely flat. But again, let it set out to UNflatten for a day or two and it gets HUGE! I did kind of work it with my hands here and there, but not much.Yes, it comes quite full. Stuffed to the brim. But I'm a bigger person, both in height and weight. And it is SO SUPPORTIVE. It's firm, but I don't want it caving in. It supports me in so many different positions. Sitting up completely, slouching down. It's really perfect. I can't recommend this enough!Just so you know I'm a real review, I will list the only flaw I found. I got the pillow with the additional neck rest on top. I don't love it. It's a little flimsy. It's not adjustable. So it's not great. But I love everything else so much, I can't flaw it for this one tiny thing. Because I'm sure some people love it.This is totally worth the price! Go ahead and splurge, you won't be disappointed!

Recently received this reading pillow (medium size in green). The cover is soft and colour matched the ad. The cover is well constructed with good stitching and sturdy zipper and dimensions are as indicated in the ad. However was very disappointed in the quality of stuffing. The ad states “premium shredded memory foam”but I don’t feel it lives up to that. The foam appears to be a blend of regular non memory foam chips and poor quality memory foam. And quite a few of the foam chips have an odd shiny hard surface on one side and many have a yellowish tinge like they are old...although difficult to show in a photo. Maybe this is just one bad batch of foam as I didn’t read any other reviews mentioning this. The manufacturer should check their foam supplier for quality control as the hard surfaces lead to a few uncomfortable spots in the cushion although you can manually remove some pieces. So overall, decent pillow but could be better..

UPDATE: it took over a week for the smell to become bearable. I sprayed it with febreeze which I felt helped speed up the process. 2 weeks later and it was great. The wife loves it. In regards to it expanding: it did so perfectly. It's firm yet soft. It feels of quality. It took about 2 days for it to fully expand. Due to the smell it got a lot more time than that though!! I feel the company should so something address the smell issue though. I felt bad giving this as a gift as it wasn't even usable for quite some time. Either way, I'd buy it again.I cannot express how bad this thing smells. It's a strange chemical smell. It appears to be the foam itself. I may have to return it as it's unusable right now. We have so far given it a full 24 hours in the open and it smells just as bad as when we first opened it. I will update my review of the stink goes away. If it does not this is what will be left and I will be returning it.

Excellent product, I needed it because of surgery. Highly recommend! A bit pricy , I saw the exact same product in the drug store for 29.99

Finally received this after 2 prior failed shipments. This ISN'T a pillow, this is a HARD LUMPY chair back. Sooooo disappointed 😕. The"chunks" of filling are just that... BIG UNCOMFORTABLE POKEY CHUNKS. For the amount of money you spend ($100) the quality is terrible! I wish I could rate this at NEGATIVE 5 STARS! It's being returned!
