Berreta red dot mount
I actually bought this mount to see if it would work on my Berreta 85bb and it did actually fit really good I needed to sand the bottom dovetail part down a little bit so it would slide through the dovetail on the gun once’s I did that put the red dot mount on it fit perfectly very happy with it so far wished the dovetail part was made out of steel instead of aluminum but just the way it is for now.

Looks great! Nicer than I expected.
Needed something to mount a red dot sight on my pelet gun. Won’t know how it works until I get my new RDS. Plate looks good and should last for the life of the gun.

Absoloute soft scag metal junk
Reality check on all the positive reviews for this cloned piece of junk. I have gone thru 2 of them. Application for Girsan Regard AND Beretta 92fs.The soft scag like metal is TOO SOFT to either use a professional gun sight removal/installation vice or to punch the A2 piece into the dovetail rear sight slot.It warps the nearest threaded hole w/ the cut out area for the slide safety. This makes this unacceptable metal even more unstable with less material in this area. The same "metal" is used for the screws which will snap the heads off even if you somehow manage to get the A2 in and correctly aligned. Doesnt matter how much you file, grind, or sand your slide dovetail and the A2 piece to prep. When contacting the seller 4 times via Amazon messaging, they claimed to not have my full name and address and continually phished to give it to them. Amazon quickly resolved the scammer seller, earning 1 star. This is a complete fail 0 star unit. The only alternative to this and other rear sight plate assemblies id the Triijicon AC at 5 times the price, but it is hardened steel and can be worked with. This unit is just not worth it.

Worked well for me on my Beretta 92
Had a hard time getting old rear sight off, but install of this product was very easy. Screws and attachment of plate to dovetail seemed very tight. Used it with an ADE Optic. Fit was good too.

Very fragile screws
The screws holding the plate snapped off way to easy. I ordered a 2nd one as it was cheaper than sourcing new screws. Hopefully the second set hold up.

Solid plate…but mount tends to walk a bit (Beretta 92x centurion, Vortex Viper on Doctor cut)
Optic plate is solid, however where the bar to secure the optic plate sits within the OE rear sight wedge (removed the OE Beretta iron sights with a vice and punch tool minimizing any damage to the frame of the slide and insuring that no slide material would be damaged or removed) tends to have minor horizontal walking when holstered or while attempting to zero the vortex viper upon installation. Optic plate is precisely cut for perfect alignment and fit, my only other complaint outside the horizontal walking from the anchoring component is that cowitnessing was a little difficult, I was initially hoping to not replace my stock front sight post with suppressor hight sights, but it seems that may be the most viable solution. It’s hard to tell from the angle of the picture but the hight over bore with this particular design to the optic plate and mounting bar adds a fair amount of distance over the bore so I’d recommend upon installation and insuring a secure and aligned mount, not just taking the firearm to the range to zero, but also adjust your aim to the added height you will need to account for when it comes to acquiring your dot and making consistent and accurate shots. In conclusion, if you're not comfortable with your tools/gunsmithing abilities seek assistance with your install, I'm fairly competent and I'm still going to take this to my shop to see if there was any material removed from the slide or if the mounting bar is missing some additional material. My only really big concern is just that, horizontal walking of the platform, the added height can be worked around through training, the unstable anchoring component is of concern, especially because I also inspected my workspace and didn't see any flakes or material from the slide or upon installation, from the new bar. I'll update when I get some measurements.
