Love these awesome multi-functional jelly bracelets!
I started wearing colorful elastic hair ties on my wrist as an accessory/hair tie years ago when living in Costa Rica and surfing a lot. The ocean salt water would loosen the elastic so they'd fit nicely on my wrist. I loved the simplistic style plus convenience & functionality for my long hair. I no longer surf, therefore it takes much longer for the elastic bands to stretch out and ends up cutting off my circulation.I actually ordered these for a DIY repair to my mini magic bullet that was missing a gasket. I was having trouble finding a replacement. One of these and some silicone did the trick! And I now have a whole collection of fun bracelet/hair ties in a bunch of super fun colors to mix and match. LOVE them!!They are the perfect size (not too loose either) and have good stretch. I find I need to wrap them one extra time than the traditional hair ties to get them to hold but they don't leave kinks in my hair like the other ones do. These are so awesome...I highly recommend!

I mean, they seem to work.
I wanted something that was a hair tie that was "not polyester," and these absolutely fit the bill. I haven't had one break yet (9 months) and I'm gonna be honest, I've literally only used the same single hair tie on repeat, so that's pretty decent imo.I don't find they pull on my hair or are difficult to take out, and they stay in place extremely well (even with my most oily, most shower needing hair styles, ha.)As for wrist bands, I have teeny tiny wrists (16.5cm circumference) and these are very loose. Not really how I use them for anything but temporary "storage" personally.

Cute but not practical
I bought these for an 80s themed activity and split then between several people. They run smaller than I expected and while the girls loved them for the activity, there is no way any if us would use them in our hair. They are rubbery of sort, not like actual bracelets from the 80s but too rubbery for hair as they would get twisted and pull hair out.

Worth it!
Exactly what I wanted and looking for.

Definitely not sized for adults, but doable.
3 stars for being a bit misleading with the marketing; I didn't really expect them to be any bigger than the ones we wore as kids but I was holding out hope. I specifically picked this brand because they had an adult as their marketing photo.Skip these if you're plus sized or have bigger wrists. I bought these for an emo throw back party and didn't get to use them, but they'd be fun for festivals and raves too if they fit. They work decent as ponytail holders, but do pull a bit. They would work for smaller people/wrists, but still won't be loose enough to really layer on like we did back in the day unless you're quite small. Overall, the quality is there. Give them a try, but be warned on the sizing.

Great alternative to latex rubber bands
These work well as a non-latex rubber band.

Silicone for hair?
I got these more for a Halloween costume for my daughter but the fact they are touted as hair bands give them a second purpose other than bracelet. So these are glow in the dark and glow under UV light which is perfect for my daughter’s glow dance. They are pretty close to standard hair band size so if you have small wrists these are not tight to wear but if normal hair bands hurt your wrist when you wear them there, these might be uncomfortable. As for their use as a hair band- yes, they work very well. I thought these would be a nightmare to remove from hair but they slide right out. They grip hair pretty well as well. I would not recommend for very curly hair though as that might tangle or get caught up in the hair band.Overall, good purchase, good quality. If for a bracelet- might be small/ tight on adult wrists. If used for a hair band, these work but I would not recommend them for curlier hair as it might tangle in the band.
