This little hat is adorable! I got it for my chihuahua as we have family coming to visit next month from Mexico, and he's going to be part of the welcoming committee. For size reference, he is a 7 pound dog, and it is the perfect size for him. Beautifully decorated and nicely shaped. Not a soft hat like the one that comes with other costumes - I started with one of those and it ends up looking like the Hogwart's Sorting Hat. My only small complaint is that there is not an adjustable or sliding clasp on the neck string to secure it, and the string itself is rather short. If his head was much bigger, I don't know that I could have gotten it around him. But other than that, I love it!

This tiny little hat is quite possibly the only item I’ve ever purchased online where the image does nothing to capture its awesomeness. This hat is A sturdy little gem. The detail work on it was much more detailed than I could ever asked. Phenomenal value for the money. If you need a size comparison The head whole fits a light bulb perfectly. The light above my sink will be downing tequila shots and singing mariachi with the best of them this cinco de Mayo for sure!

It’s advertised specifically potentially for use for pets, pets that naturally will have different size breads. The range of sizes of the animals head could vary widely since the hat itself is so small. It only makes sense thee strap that goes under chin would be elastic to keep snug no matter wearers size, like, literal no brainer right? I never even thought to look for strap description before buying, and no the non elastic strap is not adjustable in anyway, bout as marketable as a 1 size belt
