C.S. Osborne 124 Staple Remover 124 Upholstery Tools

This is an expensive little tool, but worth every penny. Very high-quality. And it does the job perfectly. Removing staples from an upholstered chair is not easy with a screwdriver, but this tool really made it much easier.

I typically use a scratch awl with a ball peen hammer) to lift upholster staples. I thought that I would try this tool. This tool is well balanced, substantial, and gets the job done. I did need a hammer to assist, and the end of the tool gives plenty of surface area. PSA: Ensure that you keep your stabilizing hand well out of the way. This tool is quite sharp. The forge on the tip end is strong and true. This took has high quality, utility and design.

This isn't just a staple remover. It has a lot of uses! I use it to dig out weeds, open packages, remove moss from cracks in pavement. I like it!

Excellent tool for pulling staples out of seat cushions that are being redone. Makes a tedious job go much faster including staples that are really flush or even below the surface.

My co workers has a staple remover just like this one but the prints have a slight curve in it unlike these. The ones with the curve work better. I feel I have a harder time removing staples with this one than I do a regular staple puller. It doesn’t get under the staples well at all I have to hit the back of it several times to get the prongs to dig under the staple and sometimes all it does is put deep holes in my piece without removing the staple. It breaks more staples than it pulls out.

Works much better than a flat blade screwdriver!
