Initial impressions, setup documentation
Update and rate downgrade:Once I started using the tablet, the problem with processor speed I noticed before only in passing became a major consideration. Response is simply unacceptably slow.1. Well packaged, delivered promptly by ONTRAC, which is always faster than the other services.2. When you see the T-Mobile SIM card with the SIM missing, the first thought is that there was an error in shipment. The Startup Guide does not refer to the SIM, the separate T-Mobile activation sheet mentions that the SIM is pre-installed. Not sure if there is a way to communicate quicker about the "hole in the card," but it would be a good idea.3. Installation instructions say to handle the T-Mobile connection *first*. A question there: will I be able to use (free) Wi-Fi in preference to (limited-amount) 4G if I first establish the latter?4. First boot-up is way too long, with OIOO in various colors, and... ? No lock, as indicated in instructions, repeated pressing of the ON button finally got me to the installation sequence, beginning with selection of language.5. Clicking on the T-Mobile link produced a wide black strip and nothing moving. In tiny letters on the bottom: "DONE." Clicking on that, the 4G Connect activation came up. Aha! At this point, there is the answer to my question in No. 3: Wi-Fi activation pops up. The next prompt (you are connected) is helpful. Still wondering how I'll be select the mode of connection.6. Facebook and Google options follow. Instructions are clear.7. Next, bookkeeping items under "Basics," not too bad. Skype and email authorizations follow.8. Personalization options, not entirely clear.9. When the main menu comes up, followed by Widgets page, Settings is the last icon in the corner, should be more prominent. Why does it require several taps to come up? Ditto for "Data Usage," then "Settings isn't responding." Hmmm... Eventually comes up, all responses are a bit slow, hesitating for several seconds.10. Trouble going back to the main menu, the second bottom icon ("house-home") doesn't do the job. "Choose a share action" pops up, I don't want to use any, no X to dismiss. Frustrating.11. Wanting to search, clicking on Google produces "Get Google now," even though I already registered with my Gmail account. OK, a bit more effort and then Google comes up and - hurrah! - the mike icon and voice command option. Excellent! Screen keeps going to sleep, will have to find control, probably under Settings. Again the search for main/home page. From the miniaturized icon, touching Settings leads to Sounds, not the top of Settings. That's enough for the initial session. Good over-all impression, some problems, especially about the response to touch and no obvious easy way to go to the top menu.

great tablet fast shiping is as discribed but the screen gets smudged fast you have to buy screen protector to fix the issue
This tablet is everything that the listing says it is! also it comes in the box with charger manual tmobile sim card and warrenty informaton and showed up on time ! If your like me and dont want to take a risk on a brand you haven't heard of and maybe your debating between this tablet and the nexus 7 2012 that's what I did for a week reading reviews and overall this is a great tablet for beginners its very easy to set up and use also comes with free tmobile sim card with the 200mb free 4g lte data for life also i tested it and the speeds are correct also it is unlocked for all carriers i tested it with tmobile At&t and verizon all 3 worked and it sets up the servise apn itself it has good wifi bluetooth and gps also it comes with text messeging bulit in so if you have a text and data plan then your all set last but not least i would have given 5 stars if the screen wasnt the way it is dont get me wrong it looks great but your finger prints will be all over it and will take an hour to clean them off just for it to happen again and for some reason it did not come with the factory plastic on the screen so be aware that you need to order a screen protecter with it or you wont be able to stand it that the only way i found to fix the problem

At the same time I had the HP Stream 4g tablet using T Mobile and it ran beautifully. So what the heck
I would be the first to say that the 4g suckered me in. However I did do some test on it and it doesn't hold up to the HP Stream 4g with the connection speed. I had taken it to work and compared both side by side, the Oloo would connect but I would not get any content that was readable using T mobile. At the same time I had the HP Stream 4g tablet using T Mobile and it ran beautifully. So what the heck? It may be in the processor speed between the two but not certain. Over all it is a good little tablet but I would say if you want the 200mb data, go with the HP Stream 8.1 it is not much more in price but at least it works! I would also add that I only work 6/10 of a mile from work so that is not the issue. On screen it would say on some of the set up that the manufacture has not yet completed this screen for set up. But it will still set up. As far as timing for shut off you can go into setting and change to 10 minutes as opposed to the 1. Debating, but I believe that this tablet does not meet the expectations that it says it does. Appears more to be slapped together before finishing. If they will let me I will be returning this. Sorry, but I need something mobile and reliable.

OIOO Model 2: Great inexpensive 4g tablet with a lot of functionality for the price.
This tablet is very comparable to my ASUS MeMO ME172V, except it has some additional features I really like. First, it's 4g, which is why I bought it. The free 200MB is admittedly not a lot of data, but it IS free and it's perfect for my needs when I travel. The Micro SD is a feature I loved about the MeMO and this has it too. It has front and rear cameras as well as GPS. The ability to customize the homescreen with the "Stile" feature is pretty cool too. The customizable back cover is not a huge selling point for me, but I do like the blue cover this one comes with.I had absolutely no problem setting up the T-Mobile or anything else on this tablet. I found it very straight-forward with directions right on the box as well as several videos included during the set-up process to help. It did want to spend a lot of time updating the OIOO programing as well as the Google apps, but that's not unusual with new devices and it's running fine now. The reviewers who thought it was unacceptably slow may have been comparing this to higher-end tablets because I thought it was at least comparable or a little faster than my MeMO tablet. All in all, I'm happy with the OIOO so far. The MeMO is now retired and this is one tablet that won't ever be left at home.
