## Description

Product Description From a small sweets company to a global market leader, the HARIBO brand is unique. Started as a humble home kitchen, over the past 100 we have grown to a successful family business. Kids and grown-ups love it so, the happy world of HARIBO! About the Brand Haribo, founded in 1920 in Bonn, Germany by Hans Riegel, is one of the most prominent manufacturers of sweets (namely fruit gums, licorice, and foam) in the world. The company name is an acronym for "Hans Riegel, Bonn" and stands as a reminder of Haribo's continuing loyalty to early traditions. After Hans Riegel died during World War II, his son, also named Hans Riegel, took over the factory and expanded its operations, taking over many local confectionery manufacturers in countries all over the world. Currently, Haribo operates five factories in Germany and 13 throughout the rest of Europe. The company also has sales offices in almost every country in Europe as well as in the Unites States. Haribo's German catch phrase is "Haribo macht kinder froh / und Erwachsene ebenso," which translates as "Kids and grown-ups love it so / the happy world of Haribo."

Review: Prepared for Warm Weather - The delivery was slightly delayed due to the incredible heat. Package was wrapped up in bubble wrap with two ice packs to keep it from melting. It tasted like what I expected and the texture was softer but after it sat at room temperature it became the proper texture. Would buy from again.
Review: A great chewy treat, and LOTS of it. - HARIBO Happy Cola is just a decadent treat. I just love chewing gum and candy, and I love cola flavor. The smaller bags are not always available, so I buy the big bag and ration it out using zip-lock bags. Very convenient!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How long does the shipment take?**
A: Usually these are shipped within 2-3 business days from when the order is received. Once shipped, it can take anywhere from 1-5 business days to receive with standard ground shipping in the United States.

**Q: Will any of these unleash the gates of Hell in my rectum, or are the bears the only ones that do that?**
A: I was not aware of the bears ability to do that. I assume that if they have that effect on you where they did not for me, you can expect the same effect with these gummi colas.

**Q: What is the gelitin derived from?**
A: I'm not certain, but haribo products tend to not be Kosher or Halal, meaning their gelatin source is ambivalent. If it's marked Kosher, the gelatin is fish derived. However, the picture says it's from their plant in Turkey. All gelatin from their turkey plant is supposedly made from halal beef bones.

**Q: Is this item Kosher?**
A: No it is not, I think the gelatin may have some pork products in it.

NOTE: I ORDERED THESE TWICE..... ONE WAS GREAT ONE WAS NOT.... so I want people to be aware of both..... (My original review 1 star, my follow up is 5 stars): ################################################### New Review ################################################### I added pictures this time. Amazon refunded me for the last order. This time i received the actual product in its original packaging labeled as you would see in a store. The package was sturdy and it arrived intact and high quality. The candy is fresh, its soft, its gummy, its exactly what you would expect. It tastes perfect. I couldn't be happier!!!!!! ################################################### ORIGINAL REVIEW: ################################################### So this is going to be an interesting review, I'm giving a 1 Star because I have to, but if they made one correction, it would deserve 5 stars. What I received what EXACTLY what's pictured: "a clear plastic plastic with a label" The clear plastic bag is extremely thin and brittle. I think they had some bad manufacturing issues. When I opened my Amazon packing box, this bag was inside, wrapped loosely in Amazon paper. The reason for the low score is because the manufacturers packaging was so thin, so brittle, that the bag itself tore in shipping. So my package was already open. :( The gummies were very soft, just like they should be! But I couldn't eat them for food safety reasons alone. Note: when I picked up the bag, I picked it up by the unopened & untorn part, and the weight of the 5lb bag just tore the packaging again! The candies were perfect! Exactly what you'd expect! The manufacturer packaging however, was too flimsy to protect it
