I was impressed with the quality of construction of the tool and ergonomic feel of the handle. This tool is precision made and strips small gauge solid wire for prototyping, wire-wrapping or breadboard purposes. The jaws of the stripper come together with a precision feel, and it has a lock for when the tool is stored. It accurately strips insulation of 22, 24 and 34 gauge wires without nicking the wire (those are the most common wire gauges I use on my bench).
