Women's Hannah Front Closure Wire Free Comfort Bra

Nope, this bra didn't work for me. I loved this bra when I first tried it on, but ,as I feared, I began to start itching, because I'm allergic to synthetic fabric, and I bought this bra thinking it was at least 87 percent cotton,and I truly don't think that it is. Also, the description of how Ameoena's sizes run, I thought I had ordered the correct size, but the bra didn't support my underbreast at all and actually began to 'inch up' by breasts.... Not Good. I'm returning this bra and still looking for a bra that I'm not allergic to, but I am not having much success as most Bras have synthetic material.

I bought this as an alternative to the Hannah Camisole, the garment I was sent home in after my bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction. Once I didn’t need to support drains, I wanted a similar feel without the bulk of the camisole. Listen, it ain’t pretty or sexy and that really isn’t the purpose. Think sixth grade training bra, lace trim and all. But it is super comfortable, offers light support, and washes relatively well. The sizing aligns to the Hannah Camisole for a point of reference. One important note: mastectomy bras are considered Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and thus covered by insurance. You’ll need a prescription and a dealer who can process the insurance (trans: probably not an Amazon vendor). But if you can’t wait to go through that process (like I was), this vendor and product were the perfect fit!

I just had a double mastectomy and could not afford the fancy, expensive post op bras. This bra is perfect! Comfortable, yet snug enough to provide some compression. Great price, fast shipping and the fit was perfect!

Ordered 4 post b reconstruction bras. 1 returned others laundered and in the recycle bag. I had this bra confused with one which had multiple rows of front hooks.This material is soft and 5 days out the only garment I can bear to touch my incisions. The hooks are much easier than the zipper during the swollen phase due to previous shoulder injury. The strap length is too short for my torso - scissors and engineering fixed that (5’6” & 140#). The returned garment had adjustable straps that were not for anyone my height. The stitches are problematic under the cup, for me this is a big deal. The best of a product not designed by a post op individual.

Many things are great about these bras (front closure, soft support, quality fabric & construction), but best part is SIZE OPTIONS. If you're small around torso but need C/D cup, you're out of luck with most brands. Conversely, someone large around torso & A/B cup would be out of luck as well. Amoena offers the options variable-size women need. I've bought SO many of these!

I wasn't sure what size to get, and the first one I purchased one I knew was bound to be far and away too large. Seeing as how it was 90% cotton, I threw it in the washer on 'sanitize' with 'hot' dry. It came out of the wash extremely soft and exactly the size I wanted. I then went a size smaller on the next purchase and it was perfect. I plan to NOT give it the same hot water treatment. These bras will be great for post-op as they are extremely soft and comfortable. And front closure - need I say more?

I have never worn a bra for daytime wear without an underwire. I bought this bra to help during my radiation. It fit perfectly, stayed put, breathed, and had no seams inside so it helped alleviate some of the side affects of the radiation. I bought 2 and am very happy with this purchase.

front snaps are convenient for those with limited ability to fasten behind the back, HOWEVER, the snaps are so poorly constructed that they refuse to remain closed. I would return this except a blouse I wore with it faded color on the white bra and now the color is a dingy white. Sizing also is extremely smaller than stated. This might be a decent purchase for pre-pubescent as a training bra but not much good for mature lady. Sorry folks, Stick with your local foundations retailer for proper fit and proper construction. Cost is a factor that proves: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

I only wear a bra when necessary and the first thing I do when I get home is take it off. But I love this bra, it's the most comfortable bra I have ever bought. It fits perfectly and looks good under a tee shirt. I love the front closure and the coverage underarms, also the support at the back. I am very happy with this product.
