My friend lived in China for awhile and recommended several teas to try. I ordered this as a result to ensure I steep for the proper amount of time. The tea maker works quite well, and is easy to use. You fill the upper portion with leaves, and steep for desired time, then press the red button, it then flows to the bottom, ready to pour. The only reason I rated 4 stars is related to problems I anticipate. To explain, the glass is quite thin, and the metal protective ring isn't in the proper location. So, I foresee the glass cracking down the road. It's a delicate product, so clean with ease, and I wouldn't recommend using a dishwasher.
