excellent value for money ,as with most cheaper sails the supplied rope is not really up to the task , best to use your own 6mm braided nylon or similar .definitely waterproof .

Delivery was prompt. The awning/sun sail is good value for money. I chose the green. For those that don’t know the underside is grey. Not a problem for me.

I have a fairly small, enclosed, south facing garden. This summer has been exceptionally hot and my garden was the 7th level of hell... you couldn't walk out onto the patio let alone sit outside.As I have a toddler grandchild to care for I wanted us to be able to use the garden and so bought the sail shade.It has made a huge difference, allowing us to play outside and cool off in a paddling pool under the shade.Easy enough to hang up, though we did add extra heavy duty cables to attach it to brick work.Only downside was when the weather finally broke, it did so with gusto and the torrential rain cause small rips at the corners while I stood outside poking the sail with a broom as it filled with water. Nevertheless, great value and if needed I will be buying the same again !

This product is exactly what we needed, weather hasn't been great but this product has survived......highly recommended

We have put the sail up at a 25degree angle, so that rain would slide off, but no it gathers and makes the sail look pregnant, big lump hanging down which stretches the material. We have tried tightening it, but it happens again. It does keep the sun off you and gives good shade on a sunny day. But would not say it's heavy duty. This is the second one I have purchased, as last year the other one ripped with the high winds. I do live in Scotland, so lots of rain and wind.

I am happily surprised by this sail bought for our garden, we have purchased two now as they are such good value, and with the warmer months we were lucky to have during the summer, this was really handy for my toddler nephew to play in the garden under, and also for my family and I to relax with some shade.Only adjustment I needed to make to the sail was to add my own bungee cables to the corners rather then the rope provided, as this allowed for more airflow and flexibility when placing the sail out. This meant we could have several hooks around the garden to plot the sail, and had a bit of stretch as well.

This product lasted one day,bit ripped in a gentle wind. A real waste of money.
