Royal Ball Retriever, (Red, Large)

I bought this for my new odyssey putter that has a very large grip on it and this fit perfectly over it. It seems to be made of quality material and picks balls up nicely. I highly recommend getting one if you have an extra large grip on your putter and want to save your back.

I believe most putter grips would require a large Royal retriever, and if you are using a super stroke or Jumbo Max, forget this.However, on my putter the large works great. Retention is excellent and once you learn to roll down one of the little tabs first, the ball comes out easily. Have not had any issue with this trying to fall off, unlike several of the screw in types I have tried in the past.

Works, but is softer than others I have used. It does fit larger grips.

I have used ball retrievers for years to get my golf ball from the cup. My back has been thankful that I no longer need to bend over. I recently had a larger grip put on my club, and the other retriever wouldn't work. I tried another larger top, but this is much better. It GRABS my ball. So two plusses - a larger grip on my putter, and a very functional ball grabber.

Durable. Performs well.

You have to realy push to get the ball on. Definitely a back saver.

It makes me to be easier to pick up a ball from the hole-cup. But if you usually grip the end of the putter, it might be bothering you. It doesn’t issue to me cause I grip the front end of putter grip.

Works quite well on a standard size pistol grip. Doesn’t extend too high from grip and can fold over to reduce the profile. The fit when in use is snug because our flagsticks are a little larger than many with a ball in the ball pickup. Rubber is quite flexible and easily picks up the ball.
