Be aware regular 13 gallon kitchen trash bags are too small for this trash can. You will have to order special Simple Human bags. Even those require a lot of brut force to stretch over the ring. The ring is a bit flimsy, so I expect it to break long before the trash can wears out.

The trash can looks great and is easy to clean, but the motion sensor only works about half the time. It’s very frustrating. There’s also a button that you can push to open and close and sometimes it doesn’t respond either. So I end up just opening it as often as it works by itself or with the push of a button. First world problem for sure. But I probably would choose a different automatic trash can.

It’s not 13 gallon ! The only reason I gave 3 star is the incorrect size! Product itself is ok but it needs 18 gallon bag.

Have to find other trash bags because normal 13 gallon bag is too small for this trash can

This item is terrible. The company sent a second one that is just as terrible as the first. Outward appearances are great, but don’t expect the motion sensors to work. I’ve replaced batteries multiple times, and it simply does not work. It’s a lot of money to pay for a product that doesn’t work as promised

Arrived in January 2022 and is already not working and it’s only been about a month. Lid stopped opening. Did a battery change and everything and it is still not working. Wasted money.
