Inexpensive - Very Durable - Consistently Excellent Audio Performance
I'm a headset abuser. I regularly drop and lose headsets. I toss them into my backpack / laptop case. I put them in my pocket all the time. Between my Blackberry and Google Nexus 5, I probably log more than 4 hours a day of phone calls and conference calls. Most of my phone calls are made from airports, customer offices, and rental cars. I generally carry 2 Jabras with me (one being used and a spare in my backpack). If you're like me then this headset is for you. I originally purchased 2 of these Jabra headsets back in 2012 after going through several expensive Bluetooth headsets. While the original Jabras I bought from Amazon have since died due to physical abuse, I continue to rely on this particular Jabra Wave Corded model as my only headset. The fact that this headset has gotten progressively cheaper over the last 2 years is an added bonus. This headset delivers clear and consistent audio quality. Unlike with Bluetooth, no one ever complains they can't hear me. While this headset doesn't offer wind or noise cancellation (it was $20.00 back in 2012 and today goes for less than $9.00 including shipping on Ebay), it always delivers excellent audio quality. The Jabra comes with several sizes of earpieces. I tend to use the smallest size. The great thing about the earpieces is that they almost never come off. Even then my Jabra is sitting on the bottom of my backpack with tons of papers and notebooks and other accessories i carry around, i can yank the headset out at anytime and still have the earpiece still attached. The BEST part of this headset is that its completely WATERPROOF! I have on more than one occasion accidentally left a Jabra in my cargo pants and found the headset in perfect (if cleaner) working condition after it was washed in the laundry.Overall I would highly recommend this headset for all the reasons stated in the subject of my review. My next order of 6 Jabra Waves arrive on Friday from Ebay. The timing is great since I'm down to my last one!

The only one that works for the my applications in a value-minded offering.
Servicable. For under $20, it works great for PS4 and Xbox, with the 1/8" (3.5mm) jack. Mute is hassle, as you need to hold it down, but then again, you won't be muted by accident. The cord is the right length, not too long nor too short. Quality on the headset is solid with more than enough gain. The major issue here is that smaller ear piece does not stay in ear, but loosely hangs without falling out. Pushing it back in does nothing, as the rubber wrap surround does not have malleability. The larger earpiece does work, but it will feel somewhat uncomfortable. Add more gain from the system you are using, and it works fine.On phone calls for the Android / Samsung S series, the call quality is the worst I have ever heard- at most volume settings. At the lower volume settings, it is great- at most standard volumes, distortion and digital red-lining cause the thing to be unusable. Horrible stuff on something so simple. For $30 here, today, it is a terrible value. I paid $15 or so here a few months ago. More Chinese garbage at inflated prices. Don't even bother with the brick and mortar retailers that charge up to $40 for this. Are there any other corded units I've found with the right 3.5mm jack and universal L/R fit? No way.. I've searched everywhere, and the market at this price point is again, complete garbage from any and everyone. Blech.

Not ready for primetime...
I purchased this headset to use with my Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket. It does work, kinda. The ear phone is relatively comfortable, but it can get a little painful if you wear it too long (3-4 hours). I wish the earpiece would fit more snugly in my ear. I always feel like it's a little loose. The sound is pretty good...The real issue with this headset is the poor microphone performance. I've now given up trying to get a headset that doesn't make you look like an air traffic controller. It seems that those types of headsets are the only ones that can pick up your voice well enough that people can actually hear you. I left myself several voicemail messages using this headset. Speaking at a normal level results in a very weak, muffled sound. If you speak pretty loud, the result is only marginally better.I just think that the technology is not good enough yet that this style of headset is good enough for actual use. I purchased another very inexpensive headset from Amazon for only $5-6 with a boom mike... IT WORKS GREAT! People can actually hear me.So, this headset goes into the drawer along with the other technology items that didn't work as expected.... Don't buy this headset!!
