Worked like a charm!
So I broke my first chain on the trail the other day, but thank God at least I was almost back to my car. If I would've been way out there, I would've been up a creek for sure. So I looked into what my options were, and after a lot of research to find out who makes the best quick link, I ended up getting this one, and a crank brothers M17 multi tool that has a chain breaker on it in case it ever happens again. It was super easy to push the pin out of the broken link, and install this quick link, with no special tools required to install the quick link after I used the chain breaker to remove the broken link (once the quick link is in place, just hold the brakes, and apply downward pressure with your foot to the front pedal, and it will snap into place). The quick link is reusable too. Before you order one, just make sure that it will fit your bike, as they're all different depending on how many speeds your bike is. My mountain bike has 9 gears in the rear, and 3 in the front, so I got the 9 speed one. Also check to see if your chain is directional or not when reinstalling the chain if you took it off. Been on a few rides already, and so far no issues. Definitely recommend!

Perfect fit!
Perfect for my bike bag, I used one of them the other day and it was very easy to install. It's worth it to have one or two of these especially on longer trips.

Legit
I have several bikes, and often end up servicing a few others for friends. Back in the day, we just measured chains to length and used a chain tool to rivet them. These days, it’s a lot easier to use a master link. For the bikes with 9 speed chains, this is my master link of choice. They seem to work well with most of the chains I run across — Shimano, KMC, SRAM, whatever. The finish is good and once they’re installed you pretty much don’t know they’re there. No weird noises, no shifting issues. I’ve used these on road bikes and mid-drive e-bikes and haven’t had one fail. I usually carry an extra but don’t recall ever having to use it. A couple other things: these are the “R” link … the “R” stands for “reusable,” which is important. 9-speed master links are usually reusable; typically, 10-speed or above may not be. Also, I recommend getting a pair of master link pliers to install or remove these. It’s not necessary, but makes the process a lot easier. As always, the best pliers are made by Park Tool, but the cheap knockoffs work just fine.

Pretty weak
Very cheap. Broke both link of these links within days and I wasn't even riding hard. Both broke while riding on the street in my neighborhood. Would not recommend for anything more than a child's bike.
