When it comes to hardwood decking like redwood or Ipe there is nothing better than this product

Goes on great but natural color does not mean transparent!
It went on my Ipe deck very fast and easily with a roller attached to a long pole. I went over each area 2-3 times with something like 5-10 min in between to prevent puddling and to redistribute from less thirsty to more thirsty sections. After I finished the whole deck I went back and rolled the whole thing with a clean roller to absorb any excess. I did not do a second coat after drying though and I do not think it is needed. I got slightly better coverage than advertised since it took about a gallon and a quarter to cover about 600 sqft of deck. The only thing I didn't like is that I thought the "natural" color meant transparent but it added quite a lot of red/orange tinge which I didn't want. The varying natural colors of the Ipe are so beautiful and red /orange covers them up.

Outstanding finish. Does not gum-up and lasts.
Other hardwork oil finish products tend to be tacky and burn off my IPE deck in 30-60 days. After 6 weeks, the Messmers UV Hardwoods Natural finish still looks great and is not burning off!I highly recommend this product for IPE!

Fantastic service and product
