Great value
So far, this was a great purchase and works great

Gets plenty hot at a decent speed. Way way better than the battery powered ones
Adjustable heat is a great feature. It does get really hot, which seems to make the glue bond stronger. Heats up faster on the higher settings, of course.One small complaint: It's not very stable when standing - until I wrapped some electrical tape on the metal stand and bottom of the handle to help it grip.

Feels like a tool, not a toy.
Really well made, definitely not a dollar store or even a Walmart quality gun. Trigger is strong and smooth. If you're looking for a good gun, give this a try, seriously, I know there's fancy, colorful, pretty, cute "toy" looking glue guns, but you don't need them. Having an adjustable temp is going to be great for using different types of glue, wood glue, fabric glue. We go from knitting and sewing to construction and demolition in my house, depending on which way the wind blows, so, I hope this glue gun will be around for a good long time. Will update if it breaks without reason.

Way bigger than I expected!
Great glue gun. Drips just like every other hot glue gun. It’s very large and industrial like. Quality product for the price

Works great, but....
This glue guns seems to be holding up pretty good. It does stand not up the greatest at times. The base is very small. It heats up great, and works good for what crafts I do. The temp control is not the easiest to use. If you need to change temp a lot, this glue gun is not for you. Unless you keep a dime or small screw driver by you to turn the temp control.

Mostly pleased
Initially, I thought this was taking way too long to heat up. I haven't used a hot glue gun in years. Then I noticed I hadn't turned up the variable heat adjustment. Once I cranked it up, it worked fine. The only complaint I have is, like every other glue gun I've used in the past, when you set it down, glue oozes out of the nozzle. I don't know why they can't make one that closes the nozzle when you let go of the trigger - maybe they do, I don't know. Overall, it works just fine.

MEETS WHAT IS SAID
OMG! I just received my glue gun. I love it, especially the temperature dial. I don't have to choose between 3 glue guns, hot, medium or low. I really like the trigger, not like the others after a long time using it your finger starts to become uncomfortable. The size is great not like the small one's that you get at craft stores. With use I will learn which temp is low or medium, there was no suggestion in the instruction in the manual.
