I got this set for my pre-teen who loves LEGO and anything space-related, and it was a fantastic addition to their collection. The design is impressive, with a sleek space shuttle and fun details that make it feel like a real NASA-inspired build. It’s a good size—not too bulky, so it fits well on a shelf, but big enough to feel like a substantial and exciting build. Beyond just being a cool display piece, it’s also great for developing patience and fine motor skills. The build process is engaging without being overly complicated, making it a fun challenge while still feeling rewarding. The moving parts add an extra level of playability, which makes it even more enjoyable. Overall, it’s a well-made set that’s perfect for kids who love space and LEGO, whether for play or display.

Legos can’t go wrong

My kids love this spaceship! My five year old built it all by herself and and my two year old can’t stop playing with the rover. Get this set before it goes up in price. It’s not a set that will likely end up half off on the clearance aisle. That being said, there will likely be space shuttles in the future similar to this one if you do miss it. LEGO creator already has a new creator shuttle for summer 2021. This set is just one of the best I’ve seen so far in terms of playability. It reminds me of the 3367, 31066, 60078, or even the 7315 Life on Mars set. However, this one has the most refinement for the size and price. If you want an authentic shuttle this isn’t the one. If you want a shuttle your kids will love this is the best one so far in my opinion. Also, the accessories and minifigures are well thought out and fun. My favorite part of the set has to be the engine compartment.

We were shopping together and this is what my grandson wanted for his birthday. He is familiar with Lego building because he and his two older brothers do it but this will be his first solo project. He is very excited about it and love the research station concept. If he needs help he will have nearby consultants but I feel he will do this on his own and take another step forward in engineering!! These are very fun projects - they have others and they are good quality and challenging in a good way.

I was worried he wouldn't pay attention or would be too impatient as we built this together. He surprised my by finding the pieces for me to assemble, distracting himself if I needed to take a second look at the instructions and really treasuring the final results! Some days he just leaves it on display. Others, his pirates are picked up by the astronauts for an exciting adventure! He also really loves the rover and calls it a dinosaur lol can't wait to enjoy more of these sets with my littles!

Got this for my 5 year old nephew and it’s a little challenging even for me when I tried to build the objects with it. So many very small pieces that are easy to lose and although there are booklets with pictures to help you build the object it’s still difficult as you can make out completely the pieces in the pictures. It’s still a great set and my nephew enjoyed playing with it still. He said he will build out his own imagination and didn’t want to follow out the booklet anyway.

Unser Sohn ist gerade im Astronauten-Fieber und krallt nach allem, was mit Raumfahrt zu tun hat. Jetzt gab es das Space Shuttle zum Geburtstag. Kuchen und andere Geschenke waren plötzlich uninteressant, es musste gebaut werden. Wie man das von Lego kennt, ist alles detailliert beschrieben. Ich persönlich finde die Plastikbeutel innerhalb der Plastikbeutel unnötig. Das hat aber nichts mit dem eigentlichen Produkt zu tun. Leider blieb für mich selbst nichts zum Bauen übrig :-(

Can't beat Lego and this set was great for my wife. Looks brilliant completed.
