Amazon Essentials Men's Slim-Fit 9" Chino Short

These shorts were fabulous for my husband. Fit as expected and look more expensive than they actually are. The lighter colors last, but not the dark reds or blues ... they fade almost instantly as if you have been at the beach all summer. For tan/light colored, it is a closet staple.

Love the style, color, and the fit. These are comfortable shorts with a pattern that gets complimented on whenever I wear them.

Fit nice, comfortable, wash well and look good.

Great pair of shorts with deep pockets and a great fit. One minor missing feature - tiny pocket to store AirPods and such.

As a truck technician, I can be rough on pants and shorts. These hold up pretty well

I really like these shorts. However, I usually wear a 36" waist, and these are WAY too small. Unfortunately, they didn't have the grey plaid in a 40". I ordered another in blue plaid with a 40" waist, which fit perfectly.

It would seem that the shorts pictured are nowhere near the ones delivered. I’m 6’, 175 lbs and 32” waist is perfect but they’re very baggy and run passed my knee even when I pull them high above my waist. Can’t comprehend how they’re labelled slim-fit. The shorts in the pic were clearly tailored for the model. Will be returning these in disappointment and annoyance of having to do so.

After seeing a few mixed reviews I was slightly dubious but when they arrived I was more than happy. The anchor print khaki shorts are definitely darker than they look in the picture but that's fine, they still look good. Sure the quality isn't as good as some of the premium brands (these look and feel thinner and are more prone to creases) but for the money it's a great buy. I'm a 32w (Most brands 32w size will fit me fine) and these fit me well. Tight enough to wear without a belt, loose enough to wear with a belt if I choose to.I paid around £6 for these which is a fantastic price and excellent value. If you can get them for anything less than £12, then it's an absolute bargain. (Picture is of them being tried on right out of the packet, they need a bit of ironing).

The pix of the shorts on Amazon show clearly that there is no pattern on the material.But there where about 200 small, boring, anchors scatter patterned all over the place. A very poor design.Should have sent them back…just couldn’t, be bothered. So they will go to a charity shop sometime. Hopefully somebody will like the tatty anchors.Surprised that Amazon showed a misleading picture - or was it the seller getting rid of stuff under false pretences?

They are not slim fit. I’m a big enough guy with big thighs and these shorts are still unfashionably wide around the legs. I’d would send them back if It wasn’t such a nuisance so instead I’m going to the tailor to get the legs taken in as that will only cost me €10. I would not wear them the way they are as they are too wide and hicky looking.

I got 34W Shorts and the quality of the item is good, but they're not slim fit, when standing still the bottom of the shots are wide.My legs are larger then the average guy I would say and they still look baggy at the bottom!I am going to keep them as when you're on the move it's not as noticeable really, but not what I thought.
