NOTE: All installation videos for this product are misleading, and the installers are leaving out one HUGE step that is absolutely necessary for a home owner to perform this job. Removing the old one is easy, but getting that larger spring back on the new seal is the real job here. You will need to stretch out the spring (basically damaging it) to get the spring tension low enough to be able to install. PLEASE NOTE: Start small, and only stretch it out just enough to allow you to install the spring again. I did this, and have not had any issues with leaking months later. If you try to install the spring without stretching it, you will end up in tears.

Great replacement part at a much lower price than manufactures part to replace a mold covered boot. Others complained about having difficulty installing the inner spring. I had the inner spring installed in about 10 minutes using clamps as I went around the door to hold the spring in place and prevent it from popping back off. And yes the springs (inner spring especially) needs to be stretched quite a bit to be reinstalled. Use needle nose pliers or picks to stretch the spring to save your finger tips. Liquid dishwashing soap is also a great lubricant to help get the boot/springs to slip into place. As others have stated, it may take a few cycles (about 10ish for me) to get the boot seated. Expect a small amount of leaking till that happens.

Replaced my old moldy rubber with this one it's not the easiest to install but when you follow instructions on-line videos it's doable it looks the same as the original rubber and it looks like good quality

Needed some skills to put the inner spring back on, but the included tools helped somewhat.

had tried multiple ways to get rid of black mold that had taken hold of original seal. none worked at all.found this and decided to give it a shot, way cheaper than a new machine.looked up install videos on youtube and went at it. the only hard part is getting the coil spring back in place. videos i saw made it look easy, but their spring was way more stretched out than mine was. it's really a 2 person task for that step.once installed, it took a few cycles to seat perfectly. there was a minor leak on the first couple runs (easily contained by putting a towel below), but once everything seated correctly, there was not another drop.being much more careful in drying seal and/or leaving the door open for ventilation.

We installed the gasket and it popped out. Then paid a professional to install it and he said it was warped and rubbing the drum. Creates a horrific smell and rubber dust.

Had to replace bellow on my kenmore 3.5 super capacity quiet tumble front load washer due to mold, it fits perfectly and I love it but had to take counter weight off to install this among other things so installing this was difficult but not impossible, love my washer again!!

PAIN to install! But got it done in about 45 minutes after plenty of effort and watching and rewatching YouTube instructions.. using SPARING amounts of dishsoap helped.

This bellow or door boot replaced my existing one on my Frigidaire FFFW5000QW, which was moldy and stained. The fit was perfect and it appears to be as described. If I were to compare to the original one, I think the material isn’t quite as stiff or thick, but I don’t think it’ll matter. It’s a great deal compared to paying to ship the more expensive OEM. I have an identical washer in the basement suite, so I may buy another one to replace that one.

Was hard to install. Recommend two people when installing.

This fit a Kenmore 970-C45192-00. I was pleased with the quality of this part initially but after 6 months developed a tear in the bottom and it leaked everywhere. After ordering the Electrolux OEM part from another supplier, I noticed that this is the same but rebranded, so this appears to be a cheaper option.

The product is great value for the money. It is almost like the original. I couldn't see any difference but the technician who installed it notes it was not original. It fits well anyways. Installation is not easy at all, but that's not a problem of the piece. Chance are you will need a technician to installed, so you can save some money by purchasing this one.
