Vague explanations and inconcise.
I don t feel these questions are about highly relevant topics. The explanations are vague and inconcise (chapter 7 is terrible). A lot of mistakes when reviewing answers (text does not match the answer). Questions are too long and never reach the point. They are very much like usmle questions which difer substantially from ABA focus. A lot of internal medicine but not ICU. More texbooks are needed for the exam. So far was the only I found.

Needs better editing
Very disappointing book. I am surprised this book actually got published. It has many, many mistakes. Mistakes in giving you the wrong answer letter, but then the explanation makes sense. Or sometimes you still remain confused. Mistakes in poor questions with more than one answer. Mistakes in grammar. Mistakes in that the experts writing the questions aren't exactly experts i.e Neurosurgeons trying to write Neurology questions, pharmacists writing their own chapters without collaborating with physicians leading to poor questions. The good chapter so far is the Oncology chapter which makes sense considering the editor is based out of Houston and the MD Cancer Center is there. I have gotten tired of the mistakes and stopped using it.Edit: Sept 21st 2020- It's now been about three months since purchase and I have gone through the whole book. While I can say that there are still many mistakes, overall I have to give this book a solid B- from my initial F. Yes, there are stupid mistakes. Such as putting the wrong answer letter in the key. And poor questions with poor choices. But that's about 5% -10%of the book I would guess. Which leaves 90% to read and learn from. And my friend who's taken the ACCM boards says this is geared towards our boards and not the Medicine boards. I judged too early. It is a first edition so hopefully the next one will be better.
