After I got May, weather became hot so I only put #2. That just make bed off cold, I don't like to sleep in cold, cold bed makes my joint stiff & kind of arthritis worse. Seems like very soft gentle heat, also seems like relaxing & helps better quality of sleep. When weather becomes cold I think I really enjoy this pad. It's pricey but if it block electromagnetic field as claimed with other benefit, I think it's worthy for health.I am glad I invest this pad. Thank You!

I purchased two TheraMats a few years ago through a friend's recommendation so that when the kids go to bed during freezing winter nights, the bed is already nice and toasty. We bought another one for the dorm when one of the kids went to college, and it turned out to be a lifesaver. After a couple of years the temperature control stopped working in one of the units. So we contacted the manufacturer, and they asked us to send in the control so that they can either fix it or replace it. They replaced it free of charge (I paid for shipping only) and voila the product is as good as new. It's not cheap but definitely worth it as we can turn down the heat (save on gas and makes the house less dry). I would give it 10 stars if I could for both product quality and customer service.

My mattress suddenly stopped working. It no longer turns on, I tried several different outlets. I am disappointed because the price is so high, so I expected better quality. I used to be a huge fan and bought multiple of these for my family.

We use this twin size bed heating pad to warm one side of a king sized bed. It is an excellent heating pad that shields the user from electromagnetic radiation as it warms the bed. We turn it on about 1/2 hour before getting into bed and it pre-warms the bed. It can also be used during the night to give even warmth from head to toe. We love it.

This is just not a heating mat, but is far infrared heat for healing. My holistic doctor recommended it for my cancer care, but I also found out it helps my sore hip at the same time. No radiation with this device either. Great deal for the money!

I bought a twin size one. My old one is from a moving sale for my self. It works perfectly . Since me moved to MO from San Diego, My daughter one it, so bought new twin size from amazon on nov/2018. I lost control on 2019 winter when I cant find it. I called costumer. Service to buy the controller , they sent. me new with no cost.I heard a lot of reviews about this company this products before bought it, so know how great it is, but I didn't know about C.S. Positive: Very nicely packaged and presented, heats up shortlyNegative: The Far Infrared Heat on this is very poor, although I have only had two other such experiences. I had a product (completely different category, an inversion table with Far Infrared Heat, so no bias whatsoever) that's primary focus wasn't even Far Infrared Heat and it was perhaps hundreds of time more effective than this. This doesn't have a lasting therapeutic effect, none less a therapeutic feeling at all. The previously mentioned product I owned felt amazing, DEEP, PENETRATING, and REJUVENATING- I didn't want to get off of it. The temperature on the Theramat is lacking, closing in to the low 130's F rather than the claimed 140 F. The 'mattress' is incredibly crinkly, and after reading the manual's instruction of use, it is feared that it will be damaged easily - you will be rather cautious to enter upon the Theramat than you would on a plain mattress. It feels like a glorified regular heating blanket, not worthy of the Far Infrared Heat title. This feels like a gimmick...Exceptions: Perhaps this might fare well or decent with seniors. But honestly, even they, could have something hundreds of time better..Price: Paid $250. This is more appropriately priced at $70, long shot $100-125. But $250 is overkill and inappropriate beyond means, after having those previous two experiences with other sources of Far Infrared Heat. I will return this without a doubt.Customer Service: Contacting Shield Life (manufacturer of product) for the first time via telephone I received great knowledgeable service. Email exchange after that I was left with unanswered, and ultimately IGNORED attempts of contact.
