Charcoal Companion Himalayan Salt Plank (Set of 4)

I did preheat process on two different salt blocks I bought and got delivered at the same time. While this small ones endured seasoning process as expected, the other block which is bigger with same 1.5” thickness from different manufacturer didn’t. After heating, washing, airdrying, cooking, it still hold strong and did not crack like the other one did. For that reason, it deserves five stars.

These are fantastic. I bought them as a gift after having a similar dish at a restaurant. They're really well made, and make for a fun, delicious dinner. I bought the Sur la Table salt block holder to go with them so we could serve directly off the blocks. We've had these for awhile now and they're still just as good as the first day. Would highly recommend these.

My brother loves using these on the grill. It makes the most tender salmon and none of the juices are lost in the cooking process!

Used these for sushi display and classes. they work great!

I have not used these to cook on, but more for serving fresh vegetables, cheese, etc. I have larger trays, but for just two of us, they are not as handy to pull out and use. I keep these in the fridge and we can each just grab one and fill it up with what we want. Or we can put one thing on each to make it easier. I love fresh tomatoes on it.

Takes ages to heat, but if you like salty food. Yum yum
