HIGHLY recommended!
I have a tiny obsession with Bluetooth earbuds, and I'm always on the lookout for a good pair. I have tried several but exclusively used only three. In this review, I will compare this product to two other products I have extensively used, also purchased through Amazon.Encafire E19, ENACFIRE Future (sent to me as a replacement by the seller for a broken down Encafire E19), and these earbuds: Meidong.Battery Life:Encafire E19, an admittedly older version of the product line, lasted between 2-3 hours each use, with the charging case, it could last 9 hours, but more times than I could count, the earbuds died while I'm in the middle of a commute that lasted over 2 hours. Using the pod to recharge takes a long while. At least an hour for a full charge.Encafire Future, however, last about twice as long as the E19, about 5-6 hours playtime each use, It is also great in that it recharges fairly quickly, and with the recharging pod, the seller claims it could be used for 14-18 hrs. I have never needed to use it for more than 10 hours on the go, and it seems to be able to handle more.Meidong: I've been able to use this pair playing loud music for 7.5-8 hours, which is quite impressive. Its pod charging time seems quicker than both of the other two. I have not had the chance to test its charging limit, so even though they tout 40 hours use with the charging pod, I cannot confirm. I will update this once I get a chance to test it out completely.Comfort:Encafire E19 were comfortable, Encafire Future earbuds were absolutely not no matter what size I used! While Meidong is incredibly comfortable!Noise CancellingEncafire E19 had a fairly good noise-canceling ability, I struggled with Encafire Future because I would have to jam the earbuds way up my ear when there is noise in order for the noise canceling to work, and even then, not perfectly! Meidong doesn't mention that they offer a noise-canceling feature, but they actually do a really decent job at that when the earbuds are playing. When they're not. There's no noise canceling.Wireless range (advertised):Encafire E19: (up to 33 feet) -> would always disconnect, and it was a very short distance (phone in the pocket!) Drove me crazy.Encafire Future: (33ft - 66ft) --> much more stable connection, but it did disconnect whenever I'm in the city surrounded by high rise buildings and busy streets. I'd need to hold the phone closer.Meidong: (up to 66 ft) --> So far, quite stable and I haven't had a chance to use it in the city yet, so I don't know how it will fare there but I will update when I do.Sound quality:Meidong >>>> Encafire Future >> Encafire E19Meidong sound quality AND volume are much more powerful than any other earbud I have ever tried, which is why I think that even though it doesn't have a specific noise-canceling feature, the high sound quality does overcome much of the noise.Carrying case:I love Encafire Future's case because it comes with a lace pocket! However, it's fairly large in size and I can't fit it in my pockets. The Meidong is by far, the smallest and lightest of the three. With the Encafire earbuds, you place the R earbud to your right and the L to your left. With the Meidong, it's flipped L is on the right and R on the left.Use:All three automatically connect when you use them. This means different things for different earbuds. For Encafire, they connect and disconnect automatically as they are removed or replaced in the magnetic pod. With Meidong, not quite! It's the opening and closing of the case that automatically connects and disconnects them!Microphone for the Meidong >>> Encafire E19 > Encafire Future. I think the long design of the Meidong earbud helps with connectivity and microphone clarity.Control:The Encafire earbuds have a button you can press, whereas the Meidong uses smart touch technology. No buttons. Instructions for all are very similar as to how to receive a call, play next song, pause, etc. With the Meidong, however, you need to space out your 2 taps. IF they are too close to each other, it takes them as one and pause. You also need to be careful when you remove your earbuds because you would be touching the smart touch control, so this will need some getting used to!If you want to use one single Earbud:Encafire E19 AND Meidong have the Right earbud as the prime, while the Encafire Future has the Left earbud as prime. I prefer left but with all of them, I used them in both ears interchangeably, and it can be done. They won't be AS comfortable as the assigned ear, but it's manageable!Phone use:With Encafire and other earbuds I have tried, the phone call is played only over one earbud, which makes it rather hard to hear (I'm hard of hearing), whereas, with Meidong, it's played over both!Bottom line:Pros:LightweightSuperior sound quality and volumeVery comfortable to wear for long periods of timePhone calls can be heard more clearly over both earbudsWide wireless range, more stable than othersSignificantly more battery time than othersCons:It needs some getting used to to place the earbuds correctly in the pod (L goes on the right, and vice versa!)It does not have a noise-canceling feature, but its sound quality does a good job of drowning out the outside noise when it is playing. Do not get this if noise-canceling is paramount to you!The smart touch is pretty cool but it, too, need some getting used to!I have to say, it will take me some time to get used to the fact that I don't have to charge them as often, or carry my phone closer, or the smaller size! But overall, compared to all the other products I have used, this is superior in so many different ways except the noise-canceling! So if you're not concerned with that, I highly recommend these earbuds!

Surprised with the comfort and sound quality reproduction
== Introduction ==The number of people wearing truly wireless earbuds seem to abound. Are these devices comfortable? For such a small piece of electronic device, how good of a sound can these produce? Curious but unwilling to put a huge dent on my wallet, I searched Amazon for a unit with good reviews, reasonably priced and not white like everyone else’s. A pair of black eabuds from Meidong seemed a good choice based on my requirements. I pulled the trigger and in less than 24 hours, they were on my front door.== Pairing ==Pairing the KY06 with my iPhone X was easy. Removing the buds from the case automatically turned them on and put them in pairing mode. I tapped KY06 on my phone and in less than 5 seconds, pairing was done.== Comfort ==I gently inserted the earbuds into my ears. Both fit snugly and comfortably. I walked around the house, jumped up and down a few times and the buds stayed in place. So far, so good. The absence of a cable connecting both earpieces is a huge contributor to the much reduced weight that prevented the buds from moving.== Sound Test ==With comfort already established, I played my usual test tracks. The sound of a basso vocalist was surprisingly smooth and satisfying. Mid-range frequencies from a flute and an acoustic guitar were spot on. The high frequencies from another acoustic guitar were good though I felt that there’s a little bit of improvement that can be made in this area in terms of sound quality reproduction. The bass drum test passed with flying colors. I truly enjoyed the “boom” from another test track.Overall, I was surprised at how good the sound quality is considering the price.== Bluetooth Range Test ==Armed with a tape measure, I played music on my phone, left it on top of my truck and started walking away until the sound started to cutoff. I repeated the process three times and measured a distance slightly shy of 75 feet where sound remained solid with nothing in between the devices. My Bluetooth range test surpassed the advertised 66 feet range.== Phone Call Test ==While my son and I were able to hear each other clearly during a test phone call, he mentioned that the pitch of my voice was slightly higher. This was not an issue for me. The important part was that were were able to communicate clearly.== Pros ==- Truly wireless- Charging Case- Auto on/off- Excellent sound reproduction- Long Bluetooth range- Ability to summon Siri- Elegant / Available in black- Comfortable to wear== Con ==- No volume control== Wish List ==In the next version of this product, it would be nice to see the integration of volume control and improved high frequency sound reproduction.== Conclusion ==Meidong’s KY06 didn’t disappoint. Sound quality reproduction for such a small unit is excellent. The earbuds are comfortable to wear and the price, very reasonable. Going into this review, I was very skeptical about truly wireless earbuds. I can now see how the elimination of wires help in keeping the buds in place which for me, means more time gardening and less keeping the earbuds in place. And I got a black pair unlike everyone else’s.

Really Quite good
A promotional set was provided for my evaluation.I must say I'm honestly impressed with these. There sound is very, very natural without too much bass, treble or any type of digital nonsense! I also like the "airpod" style which stays in place better than expected. You barely notice them after a while.Pros...They sound GREAT. VERY natural! Super clear vocals, instrumentals, decent bass! They are IPX6 Sweatproof. They use the latest 5.0 bluetooth, which works far better (and further) than prior versions. The recharging case is small enough to carry in your pocket, but can recharge them several times for those on the go.They auto pair to your phone, and each other...or use just one.The touch-pads are very responsive.Very well made. Quality far exceeds the price.Cons...I wish they were offered in more than just black. They don't get very loud, but there more than adequate. They only reason I don't give them a 5 star rating is there are better ones on the market, but do you really want to spend $300 for them? You won't be disappointed!
