100 Pieces Clear LED Light Emitting Diodes Bulb LED Lamp, 5 mm (Blue)

The product description is incorrect!It reads: ‘100 Pieces Clear LED Light Emitting Diodes Bulb LED Lamp, 5 mm (Multicolor)’These LEDs are NOT CLEAR. They are defused. If you’re needing a clear LED for light transmission or light piping, these will not work. CLEAR LEDs provide a single point source of light. I found another vendor on Amazon, who shows completely clear LEDs, and they provide a good pure light source.

Most of the colored LEDs are 1.8-2.0v and they burn out in a flash if you put 3vdc to them. Otherwise, it's a good assortment to have on hand for projects. Just keep an eye on your individual bags of LEDs because they're not all the same voltage rating. You'll need different resistors on hand to mix them into the same application. The 'warm white' ones I got were worth the total price because they actually have an incandescent look to them rather than being too yellow.

I used these at the prescribed 20 milliamps in a microscope illuminator. I noticed that after a while the illuminator was not as bright as I thought it was, but maybe it was just my memory.I used two power supplies to power one LED at 10 milliamps and one LED at 20 milliamps. After only 5 days of continuous ilumination, the 20 milliamp LED is now significantly less bright than the 10 milliamp LED. I suppose I should rerun this test at 5 milliamps as well, but the point is if you want these to last a long time do not drive them at the 20 milliamps. Keep it to 10 milliamps or less.

Perfect for little science projects. We (my son and I) were using potato batteries to light them. They have different voltages needed to illuminate the lights. From1.8 to 4 (white). So we were wiring potato batteries in series to up the voltage to the correct level to illuminate. There is a positive and negative post on these and you just have to remember that when wiring or they won't light. They all did what they said they would do. Next we were going to wire a bunch in parallel with a few d cell batteries. Fun times, science is cool, and these are dirt cheap.

If you need a big pile of LEDs and are tired of just buying a few whenever you need one, yeah, this is a big pile of LEDs.Now, some of them are brighter than others, and some require different voltage than others. I knocked off a star because some of them are labelled... I mean, there's "green" and "emerald green", there are two kinds of white, and there's one that just blinks different colours.But other than that -- big bag of LEDs for pretty cheap.

Very nice selection of 5mm LEDs, they were perfect for my Christmas decorations. I only used 7 of the colors which all look great. In the picture the colors are (from left):- flashing (contains three separate leds and a small controller inside the bulb - I did not end up using, they get annoying after a while)- blue- purple (I did not use them, they are more a pale blue than purple and even with the lowest resistor not very bright compared to the others)- emerald (I did not use them, I think it's just an orange led with a green plastic cap)- green- white- warm white- yellow (looks orange, but very nice)- orange- red

They were smaller than I expected but they turned out perfect for the fruit and vegetable circuits I used in the electricity lab for children. The surprise was the LED that flashed different colors. They were so excited because I didn't tell them what was going to happen. Most helpful was the labeling of the voltage for all the LEDs. I would order these again!

Bought these because I was getting tired of the night-unfriendly bright blue LEDs behind my Silverstone Raven Z ITX case (https://amzn.to/3kE0n11). Opened the case, removed the PC light/HDD light assembly, clipped out the old blue LEDs and soldered in an orange and yellow one.Coupled with Apevia Orange 120MM LED fans (https://amzn.to/3iXorLQ) the orange LED and golden/amber color LED give my gaming PC a completely new theme, and it's much easier to look at during evening hours than the old piercing blues.Most PC cases already have resistors in place that limit amps to 5-10 mA, which from testing appear to be within these LED's technical tolerances. Been running this PC nearly 24/7 for a month with zero issues or reductions in brightness.Overall, for the price, a great bag of LEDs that can easy be used to change the indicator lights of your PC case!

Absolutely excellent set of LEDs. Some unusual colours like purple and orange that are great for a sophisticated user interface. Colorful cycles through a while variety of colours at a rapid pace.

Very good , I get worried about buying LED as they can be very cheap and blow very fast also be dim but there's are very good there bright and handle more than there rated for which is always a pluse and to top it off they come in a lovely safe packed all in there own little packets.
