Customer service is excellent!! Well worth the price.

I followed the instructions and used the cable as directed. The transfer took somewhere between 12 and 16 hours. When I tried to use the new pc, there were constant error messages popping up and I could not access most of the programs. I ended up taking the new pc to someone who checked it and did a factory reset. I then installed everything manually myself.

I had to move info out of two older computers to two newer ones....the program (downloaded) was easy to use and well documented and tech support was very very helpful in resolving an initial glitch I had with an XP machine. Only caveat is this software has a limited license agreement. I believe you can transfer between two machines that you've set up any number of times. But you can only pair up a max of three machines with the license. That's my interpretation. Nonetheless, it's far less cumbersome than moving info with flash media and the like.

The marketing is a lie. It is not easy to use! And it does not transfer Apps. It took their technical guy 45 minutes and control of my two computers to get the program to work! It did finally work. Also, they said it would not transfer passwords, except all you have to do is sign in Google with your PIN, and it will transfer passwords from old to new computer!

Got this laptop to replace an aging Windows 10 device (didn't have the hardware specs to upgrade). Super solid value, easy to transfer files, profile, etc. between devices (I bought LapLink for $22, worth every penny). My only complaint (why it only gets 4 stars) is I got the laptop w/ an upgrade for the RAM and hard drive that I had to install myself. I wouldn't recommend this option for anyone who is hesitant to open the back of the laptop to physically install the memory cards. The "instructions" for the install were of little help; fortunately I have done such things (many times) in the past, so it was a minor nuisance.

I requested my money back because it doesn't work on my computers. Their sending me another one that WILL NOT WORK ON MY COMPUTERS. I will send that one back as soon as I get it. BECAUSE IT DOESN'T WORK ON MY COMPUTERS. WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME. REFUND MY MONEY BACK.
