I'm 5'2 and around 210 with the weight being mostly on my belly and arm areas. This dress hides BOTH of those things. I decided to get the x-large which is my regular size and it fit perfectly. Its made of that slinky material so its flowy and not clingy because of the style of the dress. Sometimes these reviews throw me off because they're so mixed but this item is def a keeper! I wear a large in maxi dresses because of my height and hip size, and this is a comfortable large, I could probably wear a medium if I wanted it more fitted. I have wide shoulders and the elastic band did not feel tight and I like how the dress looks on the shoulders too.
