Doesn't work
I'd like to be able to give a better rating but I cannot. This clock is not worth $60. The only reason I'm giving this 2 stars and not 1 star is because the customer service was wonderful. I was sent 3 Kit Kat clocks within the past month because the eyes and the tail do not swing. I did troubleshooting through the official Kit Kat website and YouTube and have tried everything to get the eyes and tail to work. The clock works just fine. The tail and eyes will swing for fifteen minutes and then stop. I'm keeping the clock because I love the way it looks, I just wish it would work properly. Looking back, I would not have spent more than $15 on this had I known it doesn't function properly.

As good as it ever was
Several other reviewers complained about the quality, but I had a Kit Cat Klock when I was a kid (for which I had begged my parents) and the quality is identical to the version manufactured in the 1980's. Yes, from the side you can see some tiny space behind the eyeball when it rolls to the side, which was always the case. (I kind of remember finding that irksome even when I was little.) Don't wind the arm the wrong way, or you will break them, which is what I did with my first clock. You must use the minute hand to change the time, and only turn it clockwise. Make sure you take out the stuffing holding all the parts in place. Follow the included instructions to get the eyes and tail moving. This isn't a Swiss clock, people---it's a fun, classic novelty item, it's cute, and it keeps good time. This is actually an improvement over the previous version because there is no electric cord dangling out the back. Also, it's made in the USA. As with any mechanical clock, remember to be gentle, and pack it into the original box if you have to store or move it.

Don't be drawn in by the cheaply made, overpriced kitty
I bought this for my cat-themed she shed/laundry room. I had been eyeing the Kit Cats for awhile but I had not bought one because of the price. On top of that, alot of reviews say it is cheaply made and the eyes and tail don't always work right. I should have listened. You can go to the kit cat website for tips to make it work properly, which I did. This consisted of angling the kitty just right. After a week or so, we got it angled enough to last a few weeks. Eventually, it stops again, and we have to angle again and nudge the tail. The Cat is made of cheap materials, from the thin plastic body to the crappy eye and tail wagging mechanism. Yes, it is cute (but somehow creepy) and it does keep time properly, but IT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY. Just skip it.

ONLY WORKS FOR ONE YEAR
If you want a clock to only work for one year this is the clock. I purchased two of these clocks one for a gift after one year of working great it stopped working. I then contacted the supplier had to pay another 50.00 and received another clock which again worked for only one year. The clock is cute when it works. Not a cheap item to only work for one year. The other clock that I purchased for a gift had quit working also after one year. Don't waste your money

Scratches all over it, lashes coming off...
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME!!!!!!First of all, it was smaller than I anticipated... then after opening the package I noticed tons of little fine scratches all over it!!! What the heck, did they send me a used clock or a floor model!? The glue on the lashes was clumpy and unsightly, and starting to peel off. There's no way I'm hanging this beat up thing on my wall, I'd constantly be staring at all the imperfections instead of enjoying it. Totally bummed about the whole thing.... but they are sending me a replacement, so hopefully it will be in much better, NEW condition....UPDATE: they sent me a "better" clock that doesn't even tick. What a joke!!!!

My First Kit Cat Clock
I was thinking about getting the original black kit cat clock but I saw the pink one and had to get it. The thing I love about it most is that she has eyelashes and a pearl necklace which gives it a girly look. I was a little worried after reading all the negative reviews. Many customers complained that the clock either worked and then stopped working or it never worked. Some people said that the clock had to be adjusted in a certain way in order for it to work. I simply put it on the wall and it worked perfectly. It has been a month now and has not stopped working. The clock is a bit expensive considering how small it is. The clock costs $59.99 and plus tax and shipping the total price came up to $74. But other than that I highly recommend.Update: A month after I put the clock on the wall I noticed that every couple of days or weeks the tail and eyes seem to stop moving and I have to take the batteries out and put them back in. I adjusted it and made sure it was completely against the wall, it started working like it did before. I think it this has to do with the magnet that makes the clock work. Definitely takes some getting used to.

Clocks of the World, Unite!
I've started assembling a "clocks of the world" with Kit Kat clocks, with each set to a time zone where a loved one is residing. They're adorable, they're kitschy, and their eyes and tails tick-tock away.If you line them up, every so often, all eyes and tails will move in synch. Then, slowly, they fall out of synch. It's sort of hypnotic. In haven't yet fallen into a trance, but I'll have to be careful.Especially likeing these battery-powered models, with no dangling cord to distract for the Kit Kats.

Kit Kat clock
Dang it, I love these things and the last two I have purchased kept good time but the tail and eyes stopped moving and eventually lost time. Each lasted a year, maybe. Replaced batteries, re-aligned the clock on the wall, went to the website and did all the suggestions and still could not get the movement again. Out of warranty too, of course. I remember these from my childhood and have given them to our grandchildren just for fun and the gifts stopped working after a while too. They're not cheap so it is rather sad.

Broken
I was surprised how small the clock is, it’s flimsy and plastic and IT DOES NOT WORK.This is an expensive clock for what it is quality wise and to not even work when I put the batteries in is a joke. I don’t know what I’m going to do with it now.

2nd won is the winner!
first one was broken upon receipt. I tried the Self Help on the Kit-Kat site. Only thing it told me was to send it back. I must say the staff at Kit-Kat responded quickly and very frienldy and helpful.Returned to Boxley - and they were so fast and such grat customer service. They refunded my return postage and credit back the price of the clock the second they received it.I reordered it as I 'really' wanted this clock. Thank goodness I did! The 2nd one is the charm! Looks great and entertaining on the kitchen wall.I might just buy the male cat in a different color!!

tail and eyes Red colour.Pearls to boot.
It is a wonderful eye catching delight. My only issue is the tail and eyes quit after a few days, not a dead battery you just have to move the tail and away she goes again till she runs out of oomph..Would have loved it more if it was made out of tin instead of plastic.

Cheaply made
This clock is very poorly made. It's made from very cheap material and the tail doesn't keep wagging
