Safavieh Home Soho Grey Velvet Tufted Swivel Desk Chair

This chair was exactly what I was looking for my home office - I wanted it to spin, but not be like those big leather office chairs. This fit the bill plus I love the color. It is pricey, but I had been looking for this look. It looks great in my office. The reason I gave it a 4 star instead of a 5 star is because you really need a pillow behind your back because the top sticks out further than at the small of your back which long term causes back issues. For the price they should have either included a pillow for your low back or put a bump out for lumbar support. I just took a pillow from my couch to use.

We recently moved, and I finally have my own little office area in our large bedroom! I wanted "pretty", and everything about my office area fits that bill, including this chair! As others have stated, the seat is somewhat deep, so I added a pretty lumbar throw pillow, and it works perfectly. I am not a petite woman, and several chairs I looked at before deciding on this one had reviews that indicated they were a little on the small side. Also, the light blue does have more of an aqua tone to it-which matches my room perfectly (Sherwin Williams Rainwashed). I love the wooden base as just an extra nice touch. I got this chair before the price jumped by about $100, and had I known it was going to go up, I would have gotten a gray one for our living room to place by my puzzle table. I will keep an eye on it and grab another one if the price ever goes down. I highly recommend this chair for anyone looking for something more substantial and "pretty" than the typical black mesh office task chairs!

Chair arrived within a few days via Fed Ex. Packaged very well and easy to assemble. Looks really nice with the desk. The base is a dark brown, which I like instead of medal. The chair is deep but I wouldn't sit all the way back unless I was watching tv and not at the desk. The back of the chair has a slight tilt to it. Perhaps a pillow will work as well. Color appears to be blue teal but it's nicer than just a basic light blue. The only thing I can suggest is to make sure you absolutely want this chair as I originally ordered and wanted to cancel, but after 10 minutes it was too late. I was going back and forth with two different chairs. Also, to return it would cost $45 unless it was damaged.

Very solid chair, easy to assemble (the base is quite heavy and the box is huge). I did it by myself and I'm pretty weak, so I think most people would be okay to assemble/move without a second person. Have been sitting on it for a week and it's quite comfortable. If you're using it for work like I am, you might want a solid pillow to put behind you, as the seat is deep. Depends on how you sit. Overall extremely happy with this item.

Color me unimpressed. The blue fabric is beautiful, but the leg base arrived split, chipped and cracked inside an undamaged box. No quality control.

Great home office chair! Easy to assemble.Been working from home and it is very comfortable. Only thing I would change is extra padding at the front of the seat - but it is only because I have short legs / others have sat in it and have no complaints!

Chair was back ordered, arrived early (approximently16 days). Well protected and packaged, easy to assemble (15 min.). Love the "light blue" fabric (actually aqua), which is a perfect match for my decor. Pneumatic base works wonderfully, has a locking mechanism to keep the chair at the desired height. Safavieh makes good products, above average quality. Great price. Would definitely recommend this product.

This chair took me all of 15 to assemble. It arrived early which made it even better. Pretty comfortable. Kind of miss having an arm rest. Otherwise, it’s a good looking chair and quite comfy.
